TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 An excuse I can accept for the moment. I am also on my phone, so unless you want a post where Funtimes axes Avoid Gaze allowed her renew boat friend, it'll be a while. 5
Voidus Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 I am also on my phone, so unless you want a post where Funtimes axes Avoid Gaze allowed her renew boat friend, it'll be a while. <Barely managed to decipher. <Is still proud. 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 I am also on my phone, so unless you want a post where Funtimes axes Avoid Gaze allowed her renew boat friend, it'll be a while. To be fair, a cell phone version sounds like it could be very amusing. 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 To be fair, a cell phone version sounds like it could be very amusing. If Funtimes ever gets completely drunk, I might use my phone to write her dialogue. 4
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 If Funtimes ever gets completely drunk, I might use my phone to write her dialogue. Just make sure she's in proper company. Also, drunk like a cell phone is now a thing. 2
Voidus Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 If Funtimes ever gets completely drunk, I might use my phone to write her dialogue. And Funtimes never spent another minute without other peoples characters offering her a drink. 3
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 And Funtimes never spent another minute without other peoples characters offering her a drink. "Altermind?" "What is it now, Doctor?" "Would you be the nicest person in Portland and start a 12-step program?" "Doctor, if you have a drinking problem, that's something YOU need to deal with." "It's not for me, silly! It's for all the stupid heads following me around offering me vodka!" 3
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 "Altermind?" "What is it now, Doctor?" "Would you be the nicest person in Portland and start a 12-step program?" And then everyone was drunk! 2
Voidus Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Well I would get Scribbler to dress up in Funtimes-approved clothes and follow her around offering her 'Funtimes is awesome' drinks all day but unfortunately she has a tendency to avoid alcoholic beverages. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 And then everyone was drunk! For Scribbler, it'd be like a zombie movie with her as the sole survivor.
Voidus Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 For Scribbler, it'd be like a zombie movie with her as the sole survivor. Pretty much, she would have a pretty high chance of summoning a chainsaw or bat of some kind and smashing everyones head in. 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 For Scribbler, it'd be like a zombie movie with her as the sole survivor. Or we have the redeemed drunken Scribbler. 1
Voidus Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Or we have the redeemed drunken Scribbler. Unfortunately not likely to happen without a significantly trustworth non-Epic of her age to become a romantic interest, of which I believe there are currently none.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 Unfortunately not likely to happen without a significantly trustworth non-Epic of her age to become a romantic interest, of which I believe there are currently none. Give me a moment.... 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Unfortunately not likely to happen without a significantly trustworth non-Epic of her age to become a romantic interest, of which I believe there are currently none. How about I introduce Voidgaze's long lost younger brother? 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 How about I introduce Voidgaze's long lost younger brother? If it weren't for the age gap, Remington would make a good (and might I say hunky and trigger-happy) catch.
Voidus Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 (edited) We'd then need to devise a method by which drinking would somehow help save his life. EDIT: If it weren't for the age gap, Remington would make a good (and might I say hunky and trigger-happy) catch. If it was Remington then I think she'd likely be torn apart by a certain other young female member of the Dalles guard if she got in a romance with him Edited October 11, 2015 by Voidus 3
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 We'd then need to devise a method by which drinking would somehow help save his life. "Lucy! Deathwish will only fight you if you're hammered! Fight him sober and he'll kill me!" 1
Voidus Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 "Lucy! Deathwish will only fight you if you're hammered! Fight him sober and he'll kill me!" Deathwish is probably not the best character to include in a scene where we try to remind Lucy of the trustworthiness and non-totally-creepy side of people. 1

Voidus Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Maybe just having a nice drink together and her not feeling the need to constantly watch her flass would be enough. Maybe? I really wish I could since she's the only Epic I have who actually deserves to be Redeemed, but it would be pretty difficult she has serious trust issues right now. Realistically the only way I can see it happening other than a mysterious relative of Voidgaze's suddenly making the trip to town would be extensive counselling and coaching with Autumn but given how much she's been using her abilities lately she'd probably not be in the most open and trusting mood in the world.

Well, people randomly stumbling into town is a long standing tradition of the RP. ...Or maybe Shiny Sparkle suddenly feels like a matchmaker.

I get the sense that Shiny's involvement is unlikely to help much... Unless it was the other party at hand that she kidnapped.

Autumn could always slowly introduce alcohol back into their sessions, putting a bottle in the corner and eventually on the desk, to get her comfortable with the idea that it isn't going to hurt her. Or they could start cooking with it or something. Use it in some other context than "get DRUNK". 1

That was my thinking, slowly introducing it as a means of exposure therapy although I don't know if they use that for PTSD type anxiety so I'd do some research first. 3
