Popular Post fastlindyrick he/him Posted September 7, 2015 Popular Post Posted September 7, 2015 Hi everyone, I just posted another album of lego fan art for Words of Radiance. This one covers part 5, featuring Vedenar, Narak, and Urithiru. There are heavy spoilers for the end of the book, so beware. The album is on Facebook but it is public so you shouldn't need to be logged in to view it. The link is below: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10207905505903588.1073741842.1474667500&type=1&l=51c11d3ed4 Enjoy! Feedback is always welcome. 28
cuimhne she/her Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 You have entirely too much time on your hands. Did you find SA Lego sets or did you just find things that happened to work almost perfectly for this purpose? 2
fastlindyrick he/him Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 You have entirely too much time on your hands. Did you find SA Lego sets or did you just find things that happened to work almost perfectly for this purpose? No, there are no lego SA sets. I've custom made a lot of the parts, and a lot of other things can be repurposed nicely. 3
Bort he/him Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Absolutely brilliant. I especially love the one of Dalinar confronting the Stormfather atop Urithiru. 2
Darkness Ascendant he/him Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 HOW LONG DID THIS TAKE YOU??OMG and I don't even have time to build a minifigure!! 1
ccstat he/him Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 As always, excellent job. Your attention to detail is amazing. I particularly love your inclusion of fauna like the crab thing Wit talks to and the skyeels following Mr T's boat. Can't pick a favorite, but Urithiru looks great, and the stormfather definitely made me smile. 1
Mestiv he/him Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Those little radiant capes! This is amazing 1
Fatebreaker he/him Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 So good. You should do Mistborn next! 1
fastlindyrick he/him Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 So good. You should do Mistborn next! Thanks! Actually, that is the plan. 1
Bort he/him Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 You should also speak to Brandon and Lego about selling your creations. Who wouldn't buy a Lego chasmfiend? Or a Kaladin with Syl? 1
Botanica she/her Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Great work! I really like how you did Dalinar talking to the Stormfather scene 2
AndrewStirlingMacDonald he/him Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 (edited) Did any of you notice that the new Lego theme "NexoKnights" has a Parshendi-looking minifig? Definitely going to pick up the set for fun SA fan MOCs. http://shop.lego.com/catalog/productLargeView.jsp?modalView=true&productCode=70312&scene7Video=0&scene7Spin=0 EDIT:It actually looks like there are bunch of likely Parshendi. This one could even have uncut gems instead of the included horns! http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Knighton-Battle-Blaster-70310?fromListing=listing Edited December 28, 2015 by AndrewStirlingMacDonald 1
Ardjet Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 (edited) Hahaha. Did you put Wit in the carriage driver seat in the first Elhokar and Kaladin image? Because that's awesome. Also, these are fantastic. I respect and upvote your dedication.Edit: Also, sweet details on the chasms/plateaus. Edited December 28, 2015 by Ardjet
AndrewStirlingMacDonald he/him Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 I've grabbed four of the Nexo Knights sets - the two biggest ones and two smaller ones. I can confirm - these sets are basically shardbearers fighting Parshendi. They even have cute fat little Parshendi in Mateform. My mind is officially blown.
DrakeMarshall he/him Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Wow. I am impressed. This did a surprisingly good job of covering the story, especially without any dialogue.
Rasarr she/her Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Wow! I am honestly awed and stunned by your dedication to the project. And you did an excellent job telling the story by the images! Just... wow. This is amazing.
