Annotations reference tag not working

Hi, I'd like to ask how should I use the {{annotation ref}} tag properly, since when I used it on Grandpa Smedry's page, the link generated on the bottom is not correct.

Indeed, the annotations ref magic is pretty dang broken, mainly because Brandon's sites links are so inconsistent and such that there's no sensible/consistent way to get to each of the pages, wherein you basically have to type out every link into the template so it can select the correct one. Apologies to everyone who's ever followed one of those dead links, I've just not had the patience/skill to set it up properly.
