Voidus Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 We have an completely rational explenation for them, so I don't see the need to list them. Now the radios working without electricity... Radio demons. 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Radio demons. Are they scottish? 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 13, 2015 Author Posted September 13, 2015 Are they scottish? Aren't all wee daemons Scottish?
Edgedancer he/him Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Aren't all wee daemons Scottish? Not the ones from Belgium, I think. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 13, 2015 Author Posted September 13, 2015 Not the ones from Belgium, I think. How many countries have them? And more importantly, how can we get the scientific community to take "Wee Daemons: An International Population Survey of What Makes Our Coffee Taste Good" seriously? 1
Voidus Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 (edited) Not the ones from Belgium, I think. And surprisingly not the ones from Scotland either. They're all French. Edited September 13, 2015 by Voidus 1

Voidus Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 But I thought the french ones only live in toast? It's a common misconception, the wee daemons who live in toast are actually french-canadian. 1

Buffy0012 she/her Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Hi again ya'll sorry I haven't been around....anyways I've changed a few things about my epic Siren and was wondering if you could tell me what you though. Thanks! Name: Siren Human Name: Unknown Weakness: Dogs. Their bark weakens her and their bite completely neutralizes her powers. She was bitten by one when she was in 2nd grade and put in a hospital for a week to ensure that she didn't have rabies. She also dislikes hospitals but they do not weaken her. Powers: Sings people into a state of hypnosis and can control them to do her bidding. Scales protect her from scrapes and cuts but she can still be bruised up, seeing as they do nothing to help with impact. She has very limited healing abilities. Hobbies: Making people kill their loved ones and watching in her facorite chair with seaweed flavored popcorn. Appearance: Siren wears her dark brown hair in corn rows that reach to her shulders. Her almond shaped eyes are an almost neon green with slit-like pupils. She is covered in iridescent scales that provide a small amount of protection to her, but she can still be bruised by bullets. Webbed fingers and toes to help her swim more efficiently. Thanks again!!! 3

Welcome back, three question I'd have for you upfront would be 1) Over how far a range does her singing carry, 2) How does it affect Epics and about what scale are we talking about with her healing?
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 13, 2015 Author Posted September 13, 2015 (edited) When he got his hands on her actual body, he’d have a rather hard time not just pushing her down and draw some sweet screams from her. Fatebreaker he/him Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Must... not... look... this... up... Wait. I failed. Quick, listen to the Weird Al Version!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKtlK7sn0JQ How many countries have them? And more importantly, how can we get the scientific community to take "Wee Daemons: An International Population Survey of What Makes Our Coffee Taste Good" seriously? The DA are a prestigious, if misunderstood and feared, part of the Scientific community and we will take your results seriously as long as we're not talking about chinchilla-gelatin. We never take those seriously. But if you want the masses to take your findings seriously, publish them under a fake name with a PhD, Get a celebrity to voice his support, and blame a political party for perpetuating the negative effects that stem from it. Working on the 2nd Sandman dream post, in which we encounter glimpses of the Subconscious Minds of a few more characters. 1
Mashadar Mistborn he/him Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Every time Nighthound thinks a creepy thought, it shaves a day off his life. And then Nighthound died, very quickly, and hopefully in exquisite confusion and pain. 2
Blackhoof Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 No we don't want him confused, we want his death to dawn on him in exquisite clarity also, on another, very slow note, why is Voidgaze not evil?Every good Epic struggles with the corruption in one way or another, but Voidgaze seem completely fine, and has since the beginning. Is there a reason for that? Just curious

Every good Epic struggles with the corruption in one way or another, but Voidgaze seem completely fine, and has since the beginning. Is there a reason for that? Just curious As I understand it, it's because she faced her fear sometime prior to the game, freeing her from the corruption entirely. Though the power of AlGaze shipping is indeed strong.
Blackhoof Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 ah I see, that makes sense. It isn't like Megan could have been the only one, after all. Heck Conflux is implied to have faced it, in hindsight. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 14, 2015 Author Posted September 14, 2015 Right. It's entirely possible that it happened in some areas, to some Epics, though it would've been difficult for them.
Mailliw73 he/him Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Also, I don't remember if this applies to Voidgaze, but it does to at least flashpoint and Edgerunner, we decided to handwave the corruption a bit in characters that were already established as not being all that evil before Firefight came out. So while those two still do feel the corruption, it's a lot less than it should be.

Every good Epic struggles with the corruption in one way or another, but Voidgaze seem completely fine, and has since the beginning. Is there a reason for that? Just curious My original plan for Voidgaze was an Epic that through circumstances was low on corruption and then would slowly get corruption over the RP. Firefight killed that plan twice over, both because the corruption worked Way to fast and because the circumstances would not have worked. However, in looking back on it the book also gave me an alternative, because by accident I pretty much gave her an ideal backstory for a redeemed Epic (I hope ). So unless Calamity punches an hole into that plan as well, I'm stickig with the redeemed variant. 2

Voidus Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Firefight killed one plan and made way for a sweeter one. Unfortunately it also gave us Impacts current situation.
