Edgedancer he/him Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 (edited) Well I would but I don't know any way to make it different to the other dozen or so Epics I've made who can knock people out Probably not much, she'd still want to kill Vapor himself and if they protected him or any other Epic she wouldn't feel too guilty about attacking them but otherwise she'd probably leave them be, understanding that they just wanted the power to protect the Dalles. Then again if it got far enough she might decide they're even worse than Epics since they chose to have the power, something she didn't have the option of. And my mind is already occupied with Trickshot, an Epic that can that whole, letting objects ricochet from surfaces in completely unrealistic angles to hit someone with a bullet around a corner and stuff like that, plus just generally being able to keep track of and predict the trajectory of several projectiles. He may or may ot be a russian that's actually named Adamska. Hard to predict how foreign mind control will change a character, isn't it. And here's something for our moustache lovers. That sounds pretty awesome. I like Epic abilities that are just a normal ability taken to the extreme, it's what Metronome was going to be, being able to calculate precisely how much time any given event would take, how far he could move in that time, etc. but then it was more fun to have him just be a clock 'Tis indeed, but it'll likely come down to if it happens and she'd be about to interact with one of Vapors squad that I'd just discuss it with you

Now I only need somewhere to put him. And thus is what revealed that Metronome's true power was the Anti-life equasion all along.
Mailliw73 he/him Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Geez, Edge, must you always write so fast? Now I feel bad for taking weeks to write.
Edgedancer he/him Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Geez, Edge, must you always write so fast? Now I feel bad for taking weeks to write. Well, my work doesn't really give me the time/flexibility to have any regular activities like clubs and the like, so I'm pretty independant with my free time even if it's only a couple of hours on a working day, which gives me the option to prioritize the stuff other people could possibly be waiting on. 1
Voidus Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 (edited) I've been planning (Terrible I know but I think 10,000 Epics is enough for now) Scribblers story a bit and I realized that her ability to manipulate ink isn't very well defined particularly in the sense of defining what exactly ink is, how much pressure she can exert and so on.I'm having difficulty in limiting her scope since her manifesting things she writes is already pretty broad so if she can manipulate the dyes in peoples clothing and strangle them with it she might be getting into slightly too high-levels. Blackhoof Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 (edited) Maybe only her own ink? Like she has to empower it or something? What if she can create the ink herself or something? Edited September 7, 2015 by Blackhoof

And here I was hoping she had a pet squid or something like that to supply her with ink, because she can only use that kind. 2
Voidus Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 And here I was hoping she had a pet squid or something like that to supply her with ink, because she can only use that kind. Yeah I could restrict it to squid ink but not sure how she'd have enough of it nor do I know how well it actually works as ink. Maybe only her own ink? Like she has to empower it or something? What if she can create the ink herself or something? The empowering it might work, if she can create it though that'd almost be even worse since it'd make it impossible to disarm her. (Although her tattoos already make it difficult)

(Although her tattoos already make it difficult) I actually don't think squid ink is the same as the ink that we usually think about but I was mostly lobbying for a pet squid anyway, maybe holding a Splatoon reference in my backhand. Ready the ink arm canon! How are the chances for another post, by the way?

She can always make one if nothing else She's sleeping after spending all night restocking supplies so any post for her at the moment is not going to be pleasant, I think Deathwish was going to meet up with her later to propose an idea so when he's free she'll probably get a post unless something else urgently needs her attention.

But that wouldn't be an actual life squid, would it? I was thinking more in general, like for Neverthere or Bioterror and the Adventurer.
Voidus Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 But that wouldn't be an actual life squid, would it? I was thinking more in general, like for Neverthere or Bioterror and the Adventurer. Depends how you classify live but yeah I'd say they are. Ah, yeah I'll try and get on that soon. Should be up tonight.

Voidus Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 They are alive? Scribbler the Frankenink! Kinda, they act alive but they don't really have memories or complex thoughts or anything. Bioterror/Adventurer posts up, wherin two people are annoyed at Oregonian teleporters lack of curtesy
Curious Anamaximder he/him Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 What will Mistwraith wake up to? Bus Driver's face.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 And here I was hoping she had a pet squid or something like that to supply her with ink, because she can only use that kind. Poor Lord Dupin, forced to watch his friend Lucy's long, slow slide toward destruction, even as he supplies her with the materials for her own demise. Winter, Fatebreaker isn't on very often (what with college and all) so you might get an answer faster if you PM him. 1

Obliteration is fairly polite....but only when he's trying to kill you. Careful, or you'll make Lord Dupin my favorite character before I can bother asking how she managed to get a pet squid in a landlocked city run by two men who would find shipping a squid all those miles to be the highest form of wastefulness.

Voidus Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Sure, but why? Scribbler 'accidentally' let slip that squids are her Weakness? Then she gave him some incentive by turning his study pink.

But Obliteration isn't one of the specific oregonese teleporters, so he doesn't count. Please, Twi worrying about such details is my job, so you just go ahead and adore Lord Dupin. (Maybe she doesn't have him yet but a certain teleporter imports him for her, as a present? 1

Edgedancer he/him Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 True. I will. (Which one? Shiny would do it to flirt, and Funtimes would do it just 'cause. ) Well Funtimes isn't likely to visit the Dalles, is she?
