Ok, so I came up with another question while playing the adventure game. There is a feruchemist in a burning building, and he is finally storing in his brass minds. I was hoping to have him burn his hair off, so his metalminds would be obvious, but with him storing in a brassmind would that store the heat off dead skin cells? Would walking through a fire be the greatest exfoliant and closest shave ever? Do we ever hear of Sazed storing heat, and he mentions his few months of baldness...

I'm pretty sure hair would be subject to the protection - we never hear about miles or wayne being bald or missing fingernails, so it seems like that stuff is covered under feruchemical health (and thus should be covered by heat). 

 

Clothing, on the other hand, not so much.  He should end up naked.
