Say Voidus, have you and the mrs. come up with something for the P and Saccharine to do or are they still open?

a question about Sentry's weakness though- so if anyone mocks her appearance, or otherwise implies she is ugly/inadequate/fat/etc, she loses her powers temporarily? does this count through her pictures, since she can see and hear through them?

On a similair note, what happens if someone scribbles "You so ugly!" on one of her posters?

They'll head up to the museum.

After that... project Hyde awaits.

That was the one where they put lila bananas in Lightward's shoes, right?

Oh and Mailliw, do you think Voidgaze and the others could get a hold of Altermind, before he heads of to a weapon dealer?

Hmm. Maybe? Maybe she refrains from using screens for that reason? After all, if you insult her and her image flickers out for a minute, you can guess that it probably worked... whereas you can't tell if anythign actually changed from a poster. (And she can't respond through paper anyway)...

Hilarity.

More seriously... I kind of imagine she wouldn't be affected -since she can't see the comment- but it might actually be kind of fun if that kind of thing affected her powers somehow; maybe it weakens her range/clarity through those particular posters? the mroe insults, the less she can see from them... again, not something people would necessarily be able to tell (she isn't going to broadcast her weakness, after all), but it might make sense?

that is true, although Regalia also had the same problem- when her weakness is triggered in the book a few times her projection stops. Her weakness is a little harder than simple insults, however.

Project Hyde?

its up to you, ultimately.

and I doubt many insults would be scribbled, probably more revolutionary graffiti if anything (like SOULCASTER WILL FALL, or SENTRY IS A TYRANT or something) as opposed to kids insulting her appearance for the kicks. Dissension would equal death in Salem as in most Epic kingdoms, after all.

Not necessarily death in Salems case, usually it would involve being sent to a Dreamstate that Soulcaster's made for some Epic or other which is... really undesirable in most cases.

I don't mind letting Edge know about project Hyde, should be able to implement it next game-day anyway.

Idea for an epic:

Name: Heartsleeve (yeah... the name needs some work :P)

Primary power: Can change the emotions of other people. More powerful when used on an individual. Example: Making one person extremely terrified to the point of insanity versus a general feeling of foreboding among a large group.

Secondary power: Accelerate healing. Not bulletproof, but could easily recover from a shot or two.

Weakness: EDIT: public humiliation

Background: Became an epic in her later teens. Blonde hair, blue eyes, somewhat attractive. Mostly used as a hireling by higher epics, mostly to keep the people they rule over from rebelling or fighting back (as if that were even possible). A bit full of herself, but senses where to give in as far as talking back to her superiors. Figured out her weakness early on, due to her natural resistance to authority.

EDIT: Actually Quiver and Venture both asked for non-arena characters in Salem who might attempt a coup at some point so it is possible one of them would hire Heartsleeve now that I think about it.

Nope, some don't even have an official appearance or backstory :P

Bare minimum: Name and powers.

Preferable: History and appearance

Optional ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL FOR ALL CHARACTERS: Pony.

Ok, so still a little confused about how I enter, but here's the mandatory pony:

Reckoners RP: Heartsleeve

I'd say step one would be if your Epic already lives in the city or if she's a new arrival.

Nice pony by the way.

Quiver? Venture? Would either of you be interested in hiring Heartsleeve in the interests of your nefarious attempts to take over Salem?

If so then perhaps a collaborative intro post is in order.

Why thank you! :)

Probably a new arrival, although if there's going to be a coup... probably not going to shout to the city that a new epic is here. :P

Well, the Epic wouldn't have to be "new."

And here's a quick humorus in world recap of what happened with the last Panda post. I appologize both to the Panda and physics for their representation in this comic. :P

Kobold, with the next Dalles day close, how would Shiny Sparkle be handeled in the morning?

This is one of those comics that genuinely made me laugh out loud.

Guards would be waiting outside her house to meet her when she wakes up. She'd then be taken to HQ, where she'd be asked what decision she came to in the night about working for The Dalles.

Always happy to be of service. :D

"Unless I can get a 'surround Shiny Sparkle with cute girls' club I won't be staying here." :P

On a bit more serious note, she is very unlikely to stay and more likely to ask after Backtrack and MV to return his sunglasses.

Robert and RDJ are both fine in his book. Downey and Junior….not so much. :P

Given his mood Downey might actually be a decent (if teasing) nickcname for him.
