It's really annoying. Like, say I post some random image that doesn't need resizing.

If this popup image handling thing wasn't enabled, I could right click and select 'copy', or 'view image', and those features would work as expected.

But currently, I can't, because of this weird pseudofeature thing.

It annoys me too. I'd definitely be open to turning it off if:

A) We could make sure it still worked properly for oversized images (one of the functions of the popup is so that downsized images can be displayed at their full dimensions without disrupting the layout of the site), and

B) We could actually find the option for it in the ACP. Believe me; this part of it is harder than it sounds. I've looked for this option before.

EDIT: Apparently the forum wanted me to wear sunglasses even though it's dark out. >>

Yeah, I don't like how it does it for every image. But, you can still right click on an image and get the normal image options. It's only when you left click first and the pop-up appears that you can't.

Chrome lets me right-click the image, but Firefox doesn't. (In Firefox, right-clicking does the same thing left-clicking does.) Strange. It's definitely less annoying the way it works in Chrome.

Seems like it's a purely Firefox bug then. My IE10 testing also works.

You know, I used to like Firefox, but that was before they did rapid releases and I just got sick of it...

EDIT: That isn't to say I'm saying "screw Firefox users," of course XD More I mean that, clearly the IPB functionality on this should allow right clicking before the pop-up appeared, and frankly, I have no idea how I could fix it for solely Firefox. So Firefox needs to get off its butt and fix it XD
