Breath on Roshar *WoR Spoilers*

Alright, this may have already been answered before, and I'm almost certain I saw something along these lines some time ago... but I couldn't find anything about it now so I thought I should ask

Vasher is known to be on Roshar, but at the end of Warbreaker they are talking about how he will continue to live off the breath stores that he has until he gets to his Divine breath...

So here's my question: If Vasher is on Roshar than how does he keep himself from running out of breathes and dying...? From the presence of Nightblood we suspect that stormlight can be used as a substitute as they are both types of Investiture, does that apply for Vasher too?

From an interview last year:

BLACKYETI
Did he [Vasher] actually come from Nalthis and not Roshar?
BRANDON SANDERSON
I’m not going to actually answer that one. Well I can answer that: yes he does come from Nalthis. It’s pretty obvious that the way that the Breath’s working, the reason he moved is because it’s easier to get Stormlight than Breaths, and Stormlight can fuel being a Returned like him. And so yes, he was born on Nalthis. Becoming Returned without being born on Nalthis would be really hard.

Won't that require a Boon? and if so, how did the Nightwatcher know what Breath was anyway?

Most Investiture is interchangeable:

Question

I know that there's three sorts of forms that magic presents itself in, the liquid and the solid and air. What would Breath be?

Brandon Sanderson

Breath is definitely like Mist, it is in the form of the air.

Question

And is Stormlight the same?

Brandon Sanderson

Stormlight is the same. Good questions!

Question

Would Vasher be able to use Stormlight in the same way that he can get Breath?

Brandon Sanderson

That would not be immediately easy, but Stormlight could feed Nightblood.

Question

Which is why Szeth can wield Nightblood?

Brandon Sanderson

Eh, you'll have to see if … but yes. That could theoretically happen. You can use most of the magics on most of the planets to fuel the other magics, if you know how to do it, it is not easy.
