Day two:

"I should like to hear one of your stories. Perhaps you could tell me of the time your father and you visited Shara?"

Posted

Day Three:

"Being married is not so bad, Perrin. Why didn't you tell me it was not so bad? I think I am rather fond of it."

Posted

Guesses:

#1 is probably Rand talking. I've thought that the two non-Oath rods from the tower (the balefire generator and the super-sa'angreal) are among the Nine Rods of Domination mentioned in the series prologue, so there would be a male sa'angreal in the set too. That would certainly be a handy surprise.

#2 is just too vague, as the most plausible canidate of known characters for actually visiting there is presently dead.

#3 seems like Gaul to me.

I think some of them are coming from older books. They seemed to hint that not all of the quotes would be from AMOL. Some of them seem very familiar, anyway.

Day Four:

"Pass his bond to me."

Day Six:

The right thing had always seemed clear to Galad before, but never had it felt as right as this. Those streaks of light were like indicators on a map, arrows pointing his way. The Light itself guided him. It had prepared him, placed him here at this moment.

But it's been mentioned that moving a sizeable force takes time, they have to travel in small groups. I doubt they'd be able to move an army big enough to take Caemlyn without someone noticing, my guess is that Fain was involved somehow and got the Black Wind to back off so they could move more forces. Either that or someone else has similar control over it, Moridin probably would.

I don't know why Fain would help them, or be relied on to do so, and I don't think he controls the Black Wind as such given how it totally ruined his planned schedule back in book 2. I also doubt Mordin can control it, but it probably fears balefire, so that might be it.

For a last desperate push, I doubt they were really worried about losing many of the Trollocs. The Shadow has shown a willingness to just throw them away before, and this is a distraction for the Final Battle.

Day Eight:

Egwene strode around a frozen pillar of glass in her dream. It almost looked like a column of light. What did it mean? She could not interpret it.

Well, yes, but I'm pretty sure that if they sent a huge number of Trollocs into the Ways at once, none of them would be coming out.

Day 9

The letter was written in Mat's hand. And, Elayne noticed with amusement, the handwriting was much neater and the spelling much better in this one than the one he'd sent her weeks ago.

Day 11:

"One more thing, the marath'damane . . ."

"I'll deal with those channelers personally," Mat said.

She gawked at him as if he were insane.

Day 13:

"We must spread the word to all of our allies," Amys said. "We must not use this weave."

This almost has to be balefire. Entire series has been talking about how it is bad to be used.

Day 12: "Enough talk. You will bed me now."

...is a little saucy :P

I expect that weave will be something different to balefire though. Several characters have already used it, so maybe they discover a new weave more heinous than balefire.

Possibly, but it would be hard to find something worse than burning someone completely out of the pattern.

I felt day 12 was probably Avi confronting Rand. We know from the previews she is already back at camp, and she was adamant about jumping him once she wouldn't be far below him.

Day 14:

That, she replied back, is something one should never, never say to an Aes Sedai. Ever.

Probably something like "I owe you," or "You are too old for this," or "I love you."
