Earlier today, Kobold encouraged me to share more of my theories.

Allow me to present a quick and deranged comic I made, entitled "How Twi Worries Other Sharders Will See Her Reckoners Theories."

Oh, who am I kidding. :D

Captioned pictures of Rainbow Dash are the only way to appreciate the hilariousness and randomness of that comic.

(Seriously though. My first Sanderson fan theory centered around my convictions that Jasnah Kholin was secretly a Scadrian gunslinger. I don't think any theory you've hatched is going to make me think you're ridiculous--I may or may not disagree, but who knows until you've posted it? ;))

So Ultron's totally Obliteration, in mechanical form, come into the past to end the world before Calamity comes and creates competition.

Amyways, Twi, you really shouldn't worry about coming across as crazy, if that is indeed what you're worried about. We're all used to insanity here on the Question, anyways. :P But seriously, half my theories are crack or full off holes, but that doesn't stop be from talking about them.

You don't have to, but I'm just saying if you post them, we won't ostracize or ostrichify you or anything.

Is Megan also a timetraveler or is David cheating on his old future wife?

I would not agree with that statement but let's take that somewhere else if anything.

I seldomy come up with theories apart from the Epic classification stuff I did for the Recknoers some time ago. Then again I also someties see people write essays about what they think about the workings of magic ect and think wait wasn't that obvious. and then there are the ones that require Brandon, who didn't know that timebubbles causing redshift would microwave the people inside, misrepresented geometry and wrote allomantic pushed having friction by accident, to have perfect understanding of modern theoretical physics, so I'm not all that enthuiastic about those.

That's a question for part two, where we see whether or not her powers will allow her to swap an entire universe for another….where she is a man with fire powers, and David is a woman whose metaphors have been known to move the rulers of nations with their sheer wit and beauty.

Kind of how I feel with some of the theories on the Reckoners spoiler boards. I know there's still a chance for Calamity to turn everything we thought we knew on its head, but some things—like David's fear of water and fear being the key to Epic corruption—were outright stated as well as shown, so it seems to me that they're not worth theorizing about. Unless that theory is expanding on what we saw, but most of the theories I see about those are of the "No, David's fear was actually this" or "I wonder what it was that allowed David to refuse Calamity's offer" variety.

I gave up my "there's always another secret" mindset after something in WoK/WoR (then again at that point that only was a theory in world as well) but I'll spare you the spoilers. Only semi related but Brandon should call the third book "Walking/wandering on Stones" or something like that to keep the Wo[insert letter] pattern that the first two books started.

After creating Shiny Sparkle's wiki article (again except the personality section) I realized that I forgot to get her an icon. Hmmm, let's see what I can find.

I want to add an Epic; however, I am kind of confused as to where exactly it should go, how I should introduce him, etc.

Anyway...

The Phoenix

Abilities:

  • Reincarnation - much like the Phoenix of mythology, this Epic catches fire when killed, burning to ashes. He is reborn at the same age he was at his Rending, 25 -  memories intact, reborn to the moment of the Phoenix's birth (having him reborn as a baby was way to boring).
  • Basic Flame Creation and Manipulation - Standard Fire Epic - Can create large bursts of Flame and direct the general direction it is burning - no swords of fire or fancy fireworks. So, 'fire, go left.' 'left-forward' 'up' etc.
  • Cleansing Fire - can 'burn' out impurities such as disease and poison.
  • General Fire, Heat Immunity - will not accidentally light himself on fire.

Weakness:

  • Okra - Doesn't burn and if he eats it, his abilities are neutralized.

Welcome, welcome. Power level wise he would probably fit into either the Dalles or Corvallis. (Although Corvallis is somewhat over the place in that regard.) Anyway, just a couple questions

-So we asked Brandon on powers that counteract aging and said that omething like that known to happpen, so he would probably just be raborn at his current age. How long does the process take?

-Over how large an area can he spread his flames?

-With disease you only mean cases in which we have bacteria, viruses ect. that causing it and not stuff like malnutrition, right?

Okra huh... that's some kind of vegtable, right?

Yeah, okra is a vegetable. If it's fried it is t bad, but steam it and it has a consistency not unlike mucus.

It's also pretty good in soups.

Welcome to the RPG, 18th Shard! :D Mind enlightening us to why okra is Phoenix's greatest fear?

Maybe I'll try it sometimes, if I can find it. Does Zecora grow it in the Everfree Forest?

Any other opinions on the icons for Shiny Sprakle or some blood stained duels for who can edit her enrty? :P

Good work, Captain pugalia. Here is your payment.

You know, looking back on it, Voidgaze and Shiny Sparkle build quite the contrast to each other.

1. About a day - he's still weak after reincarnation, though. Physically he's healed, but mentally, he just was killed, so he still feels some pain.

2. Not far - his flame manipulation is pretty basic. I would say with all his concentration maybe 30 feet - they could be pretty intense flames, but control and range are not his strong suits.

3. Correct.

In real life, I cannot stand okra. It belongs on Patji. In world, I would say he's is allergic to it, and had several really bad reactions in elementary school.

Edit: It does not belong on Patji - I would never wish such a fate on someone else. I would rather step on a Lego.

Don't tell me YOU wouldn't be distracted by Shiny Sparkle's eyes. :P

They are quite the work of beauty, yes. ;)

It seems that everyone wins, Shiny Sparkle gets her kiss, Autumn gets to look at some nice eyes, we get a wonderul post and Arsenal... has a new excuse to be grumpy. :P

Unless you guys want a detailed description of Shiny Sparkle's kissing school I would say it's Kobold's turn.

My new laptop arrived, yay for no more crashing for no reason!
Now I just have to find the 50 or so Epic related docs I created on my old laptop and move them over...
