Elsecaller3414 she/her Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 So are the planet and the continent technically considered to be the same thing, sort of? I don't really pay attention to this kind of stuff... I also have no idea if there are other continents on Roshar...
Loni she/her Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 (edited) INTERVIEW: Sep, 2012 It is a supercontinent. I won't say there is NOTHING out there, but (unlike Scadrial) there is not another full continent. Plate tectonics are not a factor on the supercontinent. It's a super-continent on the planet Roshar. We've not seen a map that shows anywhere else - and the WoB makes me hesitant to declare the continent is the ONLY place Urithiru can be.... there might be a really large island? or something Edit: fixed grammatical mistake Edited April 22, 2015 by Loni
Arook he/him Posted April 22, 2015 Author Posted April 22, 2015 At the end of WoR they do say it is on the main continent towards the middle if my understanding was right, they hedge on the exact location but it is identifiable enough that Kaladin is able to find his way to his home village again with little trouble. I'm not sure your quote was really implying that. Not to mention that Nohadon is able to walk there if it was on some other island long forgotten that would be a little hard to do.
