taveren he/him Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 not a big deal and didn't know where to place this but i emailed brandon for some of his other works and asked if the everstorm drops crem to see if he would answer it when i got a reply he said rafo 1
Zea mays Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 That's an interesting thought. We know crem is essential for agriculture on Roshar, that seems to imply it is of cultivation. What would the everstorm drop? Acid, to corrode the very rock as hate corrodes the soul? Too melodramatic, probably.

ccstat he/him Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 I asked a similar question at the Atlanta Firefight signing, also RAFO. Glad to see someone else is thinking along the same lines. There have been a lot of both reasonable and wild hypotheses about crem in the past, especially before WoR (it is a gift from Cultivation, it makes up shardplate, it contains physical stormlight, it makes voidbringers, etc.) While crem seems mundane, its close association with Highstorms, which are indisputably magical, suggests that there is something more going on.
connormce10 he/him Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Also most likely what the continent is made of, at that. Useful stuff, crem. Indeed, also useful for cursing.
Relytdragon he/him Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Storms, the ideas people come up with, think something up that includes cremlings crem
connormce10 he/him Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 What does RAFO mean?(I really don't know) 1
Binnut he/him Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 (edited) Read And Find Out. Meaning he won't / can't tell you right now, you might be able to read about it later. Welcome to the forums. Edited April 2, 2015 by Binnut 1
High prince of geeks he/him Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Sorry my quote function isn't working "What would the everstorm drop? Acid, to corrode the very rock as hate corrodes the soul? Too melodramatic, probably." Actually this might not be to far from the truth. Real rain is slightly acidic, about as much as milk, but it can play an important part of snapping an ecosystem and the geology of an area. It isn't that hard to think that the everstorm could be more corrosive then a usual ran or highstorm
