As far as '80s songs, am I the only one who still listens to "Another One Bites the Dust" whenever there's a new CorpseMaker segment? It was kind of like America's anime phase. Not anymore. 1
Comatose he/him Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Sweet. Ever thought about posting some of this story on Creator's Corner? Maybe eventually. Right now I lack the time to devote to it, which is why I'm trying to focus on developing my writing with short pieces and on MBI (and now here), while outlining and planning out my longer original work. Hopefully when I'm working, or some time after that, I'll have the time and skill to get writing my own longer-form stuff. I was putting some of my older stuff on Reading Excuses way back when, but I lacked the time to reciprocate the great feedback others were giving me. Maybe if I really get writing this summer, I'll find some time to post some bits and pieces 1

Voidus Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 I'm somewhat attached to obscure pieces of weaponry so I probably wouldn't go for a sword or gun, much as I love swordfighting scenes visually, swords are really just a terrible weapon practically. Give me a good old mace or halberd any day. 2

I recently read a Cracked article that mentioned a Choose Your Own Adventure book where the main character's brother has psychic powers because "he can feel the knowledge." I thought that sounded like an Epic power. Agree or disagree? 3

The first is obviously Funtimes, with the reference to artificially sweetened brownies, but who's the one that's emitting aggression but no joy? Started work on my massive compilation post, I may need to split it into a few posts so it doesn't seem intimidatingly long. You realize most of the people here read Way of Kings, and those who haven't are eagerly awaiting to do so, right? Long works of quality writing don't intimidate us. 3

No objections from us, though Quota may limit the word count in your post. In that case, I wouldn't object to double posts, if it moves the plot along.

There's going to be MEE running all over the place so I can pretty easily have some running into enemies if anyone wants a fight scene. There's going to be MEE running all over the place so I can pretty easily some running into enemies if anyone wants a fight scene. Or in the case of some more powerful bored Epics an instant-annihilation scene Looking forward to it. I don't have any spare characters in Portland. Unless you count Chicago Joe, but he'd be most likely to sleep through an Epic attack than to participate in it.

I have Murphy as taking on the Vanilla's and Collaborate taking on CM at the moment, Collaborate's pretty much the most badchull Epic in the MEE. Perhaps I'll just sneak something in about a long-range Epic trying to kill Murphy then having an anvil fall on his head or something? 1

The sad thing about this RP, like I found in the Skaa rebellion on MBI, is that none of these characters will have happy endings. Unless they evacuate Oregon, they're doomed. I get attached to these characters, well most, and I really want them to have their happy endings, but they won't get it. 4
