He has to be careful not to play up the One as a case of evil is cool, if that is the song he chooses. :P

By the way, was a burned and bitten Nighthound enough motivation?

He might include some gory illustrations with the song.

Yes. Yes it was.

Thus earning himself a powerful enemy in Moral Guardian. And that's what happened in Astoria.:P

I just thought it was an error with the image or something. Sorry! :P:ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::)

QUOTA!!! He just made me accidentally downvote this post. Sorry winter!!

I got around him, though. I upvoted two other posts.

He is. It's better for the children to have nightmares than to fall into the One's many traps.

....which might make Moral Guardian a hero in the eyes of some.

For some reason this summoned the picture of happy children playing with Lucentia to my mind... I think you need to decide on an MO for the One.

Better than happy children playing with Nighthound.

Way better.

Hi!  Can someone please explain to me how this whole "Question _" thing works?  (I couldn't find it in the Rules and Etiquette or Free-form Role Playing post)

The mere idea is preposterous, because no one is happy with Nighthound around.

The Question threads are just for our (little) planning and (lots of) our random banter, ponies and jokes. To keep it somewhat manageable we make a new one every month 100 pages.

Like Edge said, these are our planning/joke threads, and also where new members can post their character bios to get feedback. We create a new one fairly often because we can't stop talking about ponies to make things easier on the mods. :P

Again a random question, given that some Heroes Epics do indeed seem to prefer swords, what is your choice sword, gun, something else or a detailed and complicated answer praising everything except 7.

I prefer the Kim Keirkegaardashian Twitter feed. Make your enemies die laughing from the hilarious marriage of Kim Kardashian tweets and the philosophy of Soren Keirkegaard.

On a more serious note, a gun would definitely be the more practical choice. Better range, more concealable.

Definitely a gun, were I a vanilla or low-powered Epic. If I had a prime invincibility though, I'd wield a sword in a heartbeat. I wouldn't even have to wield it well--the key would be to impress upon my enemies that I am an untouchable demigod, a monster among men, and that they should drop their own weapons and bow to my demands. Because if I can stride into their midst with a weapon that became outdated in the Renaissance, fully capable of surviving everything they throw at me and easily killing any of them I put my sword against, won't I make a more memorable impression in the minds of mortals than if I merely shot them from afar?

When do we want Blackwave to arrive in Astoria anyway? At the same time when all this other stuff is going down or a bit later?

Ah yes, well I might just do a big MEE scene with a few POVs and cover Flowerface in that, then if Joe wants to have a proper fight with Sightline we can otherwise I can just have him get killed by a random guard, he's an absolutely horribly useless Epic :P

Yes, I still need a gun toting Epic for Sightline to fight.

Swords are awesome and would be my choice if it didn't really matter what weapon I had, like Kobold. But realistically, a gun is the best choice.

Though if I can choose any weapon I want, I'd never underestimate the value of a stockpile of tactical ICBMs. I bet even Steelheart would be willing to negotiate over trade if you can threaten to blow up his city or knock out his electronics infrastructure with an EMP.

In one of the stories I'm writing, there's a character who is basically invincible who also has enhanced strength.  She wields dual overly large swords, because I figured, if you don't need to worry about enemies getting passed your reach, and you have the arm/wrist strength to carry them, why not fight with two GIANT swords :).  Her opponents are always like: "Those swords are ridiculous" and then she usually kills them by chopping them in half or something ridiculous like that.

Sweet. :D Ever thought about posting some of this story on Creator's Corner?

I am never going to stop imagining Shiny Sparkle as Cyndi Lauper.

I can see her prancing up to Arsenal now:

Some boys take a beautiful girl

And hide her away from the rest of the world

I wanna be the one to walk in the sun!

Oh girls, they wanna have fu-un!

I have this song on my iPod. One day, with my siblings in the backseat, I turned it on. My brother heard the opening notes and said, "Hold on, let me get my synthesizer pants." I'm….not entirely sure what synthesizer pants are, but I know they're probably the only appropriate accessory for that song. :P

The '80s ponified.

It was a strange time. :P

As far as '80s songs, am I the only one who still listens to "Another One Bites the Dust" whenever there's a new CorpseMaker segment?
