It seemed like Brandon was setting a look/tone for individual, uncategorized cosmere releases, but now that this has taken the same style that precedent has been lost. But this is the kind of trivial thing only a true Sandersonian would be bothered by.

Brandon's con exclusive for this year is a hardcover of this and Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell. After the con season is over it should be added to Brandon's online store.

But this is the kind of trivial thing only a true Sandersonian would be bothered by. I actually love the consistency. I think it's a tremendous idea to have a consistent look and layout of covers. That might just be me though. As for the images themselves, it would be nice to get a cover image in which the main color isn't purple/blue. If the image itself is what you were referring to, I kind of agree.
