Newan he/him Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Kelsier and The Lord Ruler were both killed by being stabbed through the chest with metal spikes. Do you think Hoid or some other cosmic collector tried to take those spearheads? The one in that killed The Lord Ruler could potentially have been a very powerful hemalurgic spike if it was stuck into a body before its power decayed significantly.
Voidus Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Given the importance of Intent in Hemalurgy I doubt either of the two actually became Hemalurgic spikes even if the spear used was of one of the 16 metals.
Newan he/him Posted March 12, 2015 Author Posted March 12, 2015 We've seen accidental spikeage before, like when Spook got his spike. Yes, the man who stabbed Spook through the thug was being influenced by Ruin, but does that count as intent? 1

Yes, the man who stabbed Spook through the thug was being influenced by Ruin, but does that count as intent?I, Ruin, shall intentionally stab you with this sword through this Pewterarm before you to grant you the power of Pewter, but as I lack limbs I shall simply hijack this conveniently present swordsman to do so in my stead.Sound better? Newan he/him Posted March 12, 2015 Author Posted March 12, 2015 Rashek and Vin both had hemalurgy. Ruin could have provided the intent to those kills. I'm not saying that I necessarily believe this happened, but it's possible. 1
Voidus Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Certainly possible but if he did I think he would have made use of one or both of them, while Kels might have gone unnoticed I doubt TLRs would have.Given that the spears would have been steel it would have been one of the physical allomantic metals so we probably would have noticed an Inquisitor with TLR levels of Allomancy.

I bet Marsh could have gotten his hands on it.
