Mobius, get that pocket dimension ready. I need to lay low for a while.

Siny Sparkle, you're coming as well.

You guys formed Mafia-esque alliances with your Epics? That's very alarming because I totally didn't do that with my Epic characters.

Deathgale essentially asked for it. The guy always was a criminal, to the point that taking away his corruption wouldn't have me change his character at all.

I should study science just so I can design a mind control ray. I'll then fire it at a Sanderson book signing, controlling the assembled Sanderfans to ask exactly the questions I want them to ask.

I will call the ray my Brandon-Sanderson-Question-inator!

A fan steps up to the table, her hands jitter from excitement. Holding out her copy of Firefight, the author himself reaches out and snags it from her. "Hello," he says, "do you have any questions?"

The smile that plasters onto her face reaches from ear to ear. She stammers, never having been in the presence of an author before. "I..uh..I was wondering if you could explain how you keep up such a tremendous, amazing writng pa-"

A shock runs through her mind, a tingling sensation tickling her spine, "-er, I mean, could you please offer some details as to the situation in Oregon? Specifically Portland? Or could you detail if Edmund overcame his fear at all?"

Talking about this. Kobold, now tht we have given up hope about the AMA, are you going to post the Funtimes?

I had a weird dream about:

A. Lucentia (SERRIOUSLY? At least it wasn't Nighthound...)

B. An airport in which I was an Epic in. Not sure where that came from.

I think at some point there was a grocery store. *confused smiley face*

I dreamed I was a sapient salamander, governing a fortress on an ice planet. Somehow a giant shapeshifting fungus that wanted to destroy the planet had showed up and wanted into the fortress so he could... do something terrible, I suppose. For the whole dream the fungus was trying to trick me into letting it inside, while I tried to convince it that wiping out all life on the planet was wrong. The fungus' counterargument went something like this:

"Destroying planets is just a part of my life cycle. All living things kill and destroy in their lives. Most races eat meat. Even the herbivores must kill plants to survive. Am I worse than any of them?"

...

It was a complicated, very in-depth kind of dream.

I suppose I will. I'll need to either find the file on my computer containing the list, or backtrack my way through the thread and find the last version I posted.

If Lucentia were a fungus, she would be the whiniest fungus on the planet.

It would be her whining that destroys the planet. The planet would decide that self-destruction is preferable to hearing her complain about the uncreative constellations and lousy weather for the bajillionth time. :P

Wait a second.

  • She's unwelcome.
  • Her diamonds cover every possible surface.
  • They, and her, are very difficult to get rid of.
  • She seems to have no goals beside expanding her territory.

Conclusion: Lucentia is a fungus.:P

You had me at "She's unwelcome.":P

(Also: you're a slontze, Quota. I'm going to enjoy ponifying your eventual demise. <_<)

You opened my eyes. I must immeadiately adapt this in her next segment. :P

She does have awesome powers. It doesn't seem right that someone that whines so much gets awesome powers. Although, Calamity probably gave her powers to stop her from bugging him about it.

"Diamonds? You gave me control over shiny rocks?!? I wanted to fly. <_<"

I bet he still gets a lot of whinetastic prayers from Astoria. :P

Actually she got a set of powers she likes. Don't forget Calamity and Nighthound are drinking budies. :P

Isn't he, though? (I'm not the only one looking forward to this ponification, I presume.

Headcanon accepted.

"Now I lay me down to sleep

"Calamity, now I do weep

"Over these powers thou givest me

"Shiny and pretty though they be.

"I believe I asked, if thou recall

"To be the strongest of them all

"Tough and tall, like Steelheart true,

"Give these me now, or I'll whine at you.

"Amen."

This is the best thing I've seen all day. :D

(Am I the only one imagining Lucentia as a Steelheart fangirl, with posters of him hung up all over her quarters now?:P)

Wouldn't that require her to acknowledge that Steelheart is her superior?

(Not anymore.)

The only time she's cried since becoming an Epic is when she heard about Steelheart killing Faultline. (She was a devoted Steelline shipper. :P)

Not if the posters are scribbled with errors she noticed in his dictatorship techniques.

Alright, so Lucentia is now a fungus stalker with a crush? I'm learning so much about my characters today. :P

To console herself she started shipping Nightwielder with Firefight. It wasn't the same but she couldn't hope for more. :P

"Why do the people who clearly love each other keep killing one another? I'll ship Fortuity and Firefight. Nothing could ever come between them."

(Her and Regalia. :P

She ships herself with Regalia?

Surprisingly, she didn't ship Fortuity that often. It wasn't because of the serial killer thing. More because shipping someone who flirts with anything with a face is too easy. :P

Um, maybe? I'm not here to judge. :P I was thinking more that she and Regalia are both evil Shippers on Deck.

Maybe we should ship Fortuity and Deathwish?

But they'd be so perfect together! :P That, and I'm 90% sure that they share a weakness.

Firefight Spoilers:

At least she doesn't know more about Firefight's powers, otherwise she might start shipping real Firefight with AU firefight, and that's getting a little too Lanister-ish for my taste ;)

I ship it. Now, we just need a fic where Deathwish takes Fortuity to his least favorite restaurant and acts so "charmingly arrogant" about it that it causes a very well-armed Fortuity to lose his temper.

By "perfect" you mean they'd annoy each other so much that they'd wind up killing each other? In that case, I agree—both on that and on the weakness front.
