The ironic thing is that even though our campaign goal is the total annihilation of Oregon, all my most destructive Epics are outside the state and will probably never be seen in the RP.:P

Plans were made to be broken. :P (It's an awesome plan. :))

(Though I keep getting mixed up--which city did Soulflicker and Amarok fight over? I'm pretty sure it was Seattle, but maybe I've gotten confused.)

On one hand, you could see our relative lack of destructive Epics in Oregon as a bad thing. On another hand, you could look at it as a setup for cruel irony, as a state filled with Epics whose powers aren't exactly destructive manage to destroy an entire state anyway.

Yes. Yes, they were. :P (Thanks. :)

(It was Seattle, yes. I briefly considered making it Forks, but then I realized no one in their right mind would want to rule that town. :P

Actually, that last one sounds pretty neat. Let's just tell everybody we meant it that way.:P

Sounds like somebody's bringing her personal experiences into planning again. :P

(Also, did Funtimes ever re-create this scene from Phineas and Ferb?)

That's the beauty of hindshadowing, right there.:P

What? Nooo….I never rely on my personal experiences. :P

(Sadly, no. Her Rending didn't put her in a very whimsical mood, and she didn't stick around long enough to recreate that scene, leaving Seattle always and forever Meapless. :P

And the beauty of making our Question threads so large is that the average reader will never read our desperate planning sessions. :P

Translation: "Eat my mad RPing skills, Mark from Forks! For that thing you did that annoyed me, I'm going to destroy your city in my writing!" :P

(There's always St. Louis, I suppose. :P)

Exactly. It's not because we make far more pony comics in a day than most people make in a lifetime.

More like, "SEE, Stephanie Meyer, who has never actually been to Forks? No vampire in their right mind would WANT to live in that town, much less rule it! Now Seattle, on the other hand….." :P

(Though Funtimes will certainly have a few things to say, should she ever visit Tucson.:P

"Meap me in St. Louis, Louis, Meap me over here, Meap me 'neath the pancakes raining, if you want to, bring the beer…."

Odd things happen in St. Louis. Especially when I run out of rhymes for "here."

FYI, for my character, Hellfire is white, middle-aged, thin, with light brown hair. Dint get a wrong mental image now :P

Blackhoof, I love Hellfire. :) I especially like that Valve makes portals. ;)

haha thanks, glad you caught the reference ;)

Hi there, Comatose. I still jump and try to think back to my last double post whenever I see there's an admin viewing the thread. :P

I just realized the horrifying fallout of all these cross-dressing High Epics.

Steelheart and Obliteration each want to prove they're the most fabulous, right?

Lightwards admires and slavishly copies everything Steelheart does in an attempt to inspire the same fear.

So…when he sees Steelheart wearing his finest pair of heels, the only logical response on his part is….

Lycra!Lightwards.

FOREVER :o

And thus all the Epics of Oregon got together and decided that for the greater good they would destroy the entire state so no one again would ever need to see Lycra!Lightwards.

She can get a reading off of sounds, (little micro-inflections in someone's voice) but her synesthesia is primarily visual, so they would be a lot weaker. Otherwise, she needs line of sight. Her condition won't trigger without any stimuli.

Alright, so if you want her to meet up with Freq, send me a PM and we'll work out the details.

Living in another timezone really screwed me up to much. Yes, although I don't remember him having a dog.

Ah, I think I combined Wark and your characters into one in my head. :P

In addition to being a hilarious post in its own right, I wonder if "the Epic Happytimes Team of Epic Happiness" foreshadows Twi's eventual creation of Doctor Funtimes.

What is this from? :)

I'll keep that in mind.:P

To Mailliw, Voidus, and anyone else with female characters in The Dalles: be planning witty comebacks for Deathwish's unsubtle style of flirting. You'll probably need them.

Don't worry, Edgerunner specializes in such comments. :P

She'd have to be careful not to penetrate his skin--not even a little bit. If the slightest bit of skin is broken by a blow, every ounce of pain and injury of the strike will be redirected to the perpetrator.

Would Edgerunner know this? And anything causing bruising or blunt force trauma would be fine? Like in Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell? Edge may get a bit liberal with her friction abilities on Deathwish's clothes.

Hold on a minute. Is Panacea a black woman? I've been imagining her with dark skin all this time, and I just realized I have no justification for my mental image at all.

Since I realized I never shared this with you guys, this is my mental image for Jag:

http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20131013062717/arrow/images/2/2b/Slade_Wilson_character_promo.png slade-500x500.jpeg Manu Bennett as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke in Arrow. While I love Bennett's voice, the only difference would be that Jag is half Hispanic and that his machetes are at his waist.

Also, everyone cool with me bringing Hellfire in soon? I was thinking he could pop in and join with the Destructors.

I like him! I'd be fine with him joining the Destructors, they could use a bit of help. :P They wouldn't work for him though.

My mother says she's never developed vivid mental pictures of characters as she read about them like I do. I'm still not sure if it's a blessing or a curse for me.:P

I'm more like your mother. I rarely have specific pictures of characters in my head. It's usually just vague impressions.

For some reason even though it's an illusion and it's supposed to be super good-looking I always picture Altermind as having a massive wart on his jaw. Good luck getting that image out of your mind.

Haha, nope. He has perfect skin and hair, obviously. :P didn't you see Kobold's version of Altermind's hair commercial above? ;)

Any objections to Quota heeding Electro's command and running off while mocking him in his head for using the insult "scaredy-cat"? :P

Now I'm not sure if Electro would banter with Neverthere or chase after Quota to bring him back for Corpsemaker...Timeport should be coming back soon, anyways. :P

I'd say the mental image here makes me want to burn my eyeballs out, but I may or may not have already done so. I downloaded a free 3d character creator with the intent of trying to make Lightwards with it, but I soon found that the creator

  1. Doesn't clothe the characters as default;
  2. Renders the characters anatomically correct.

So if anyone needs me, I'll be alternately picketing with Moral Guardian and rinsing my retinas out with soap.

I vote that as a show of sympathy for what Kobold has gone through that he be allowed to kill Nighthound.

You poor soul.

When Funtimes gets back to the cottage, I owe you a Protector Pug viewpoint scene.

You poor thing. :(

Thanks for the sympathy. My corneas need it.

It actually just occurred to me that we can use the WHOOC thread to kill Nighthound as many times as we want. Who wants to volunteer for a project where everybody in the RP writes a scene where one of their characters kills Nighthound? :P

Absolutely. :P

Who'd be best for killing Nighthound via a convoluted and contrived scenario--Sam, Sunburst, Chicago Joe, Backtrack, or Glamour while playing a suitably epic song?

I'm not sure my brain could cope with Backtrack beating Nighthound even out of canon :P

My vote is definitely on Chicago Joe who has been around for ages but has yet to actually appear anywhere.

Voidus and Elsa, how would the others follow Edgerunner when she flies off? Lucy has her griffin and Elsa will use her ice cloud, I assume. What about MV?

Wow. That even breaks the suspension of disbelief of the guy who wrote a ship-fic about an insane astral projector and her dinosaur boyfriend. :P

Did you see his one canon appearance? It's on the same page as my meta-story about the Tennessee Sibyl.

Come on are you telling me you don't find this cute?

allosaurus_europaeus_by_plioart-d4ibb2j.Ok, maybe I see where you're coming from.

I must have but somehow I've forgotten about it, reread time! :D
