Edgedancer he/him Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I believe her physical description was: I'm not certain about anyone else, but the image this generates in my head, especially with Backtrack's glasses thrown in, is nothing if not ridiculous. I'll concede that it doesn't really have anything to do with how she's dressed, but rather her powers, but still. I could replace it with "very sparkly," if you'd prefer. While she can make her clother sparkling, I don't think she's doing so right now. Random question of the day in no way related to a possible RP scenario: If Edgerunner were to hypothetically decrease the friction of Reader's pants, they would fall down in front of everyone, correct? Well, if I remember right, she would still need to tuch them. Naturally, that would still make pulling them down a lot easier. How about this, for whatever RP wants me haha Maybe Astoria, since I don't want to cause too much disruption in Dalles and I like the idea of playing with a bunch of OP Epics haha Name: Hellfire Primary Power: Pyrokinesis. Can create and control fire. Can also control many properties of the fire he creates or controls, such as temperature, colour, smoke, shape (to some degree), solidity (can turn fire into a sort of plasma or napalm) and force (can make fireballs explode or have a kick to them when they hit). Unlike other Fire Epics, does not have a permanent fire shield around him and has to maintain it consciously at effort, lacking an inherent Prime Invincibility. Can use his power to fly. Secondary Power: Heightened Senses and Reflexes. Has reflexes that move at faster than the speed of sound, and can see, hear and smell far better than any human. This combines with his ability to create shields of flame to give him what is nearly a PI. Weakness: Salt water. Nearly drowned as a child, so fears the touch and especially taste of salt water. If he tastes it, he loses his powers completely. Quenches his fire instead of evaporating like fresh water would, and if he is wet with it he cannot ignite that part of his body or create fire through it, although he can still control existing fire and react super-fast. Modus Operandi: Ruled over an empire in the Australian outback, taking Ayers Rock as his fortress and allying with an Earth epic to carve out a city in its insides. Renamed it Hell's Rock, and marked the boundaries of his kingdom with a huge wall of fire. An evil, sadistic tyrant who delighted in burning people to death when they displeased him. Surprisingly cool-tempered for a fire epic, and usually possessed a cold anger when enraged. Did work to provide some amenities for his subjects though, creating a system of cold flames to cool down the place. Although did use these cold flames to freeze people to shake things up a bit. Backstory: Was an Ayers Rock tour guide before he manifested about two years after Calamity. His Rending killed his tour group and everyone else on Uluru, before declaring it and the surrounding area his domain. Recently fought off a group of American epics who tried to steal his kingdom, and they claimed that they were sent by (insert Epic emperor/ess from whatever RP i join), lying in an attempt to get mercy. It didn't work. Now he has come himself to teach this Epic a lesson, and warn any other American Epics from daring to cross the ocean. He was Australian, mate. OOC: I'm thinking he can pop in and ally with whoever is opposed to the Epic he is after. He doesn't necessarily want to kill the Epic, but cause destruction and trouble for them as a warning, mess their territory up a bit. No apparent problems. Even though I'm pretty sure no one of our Epics would have any buisness down in Australia. Soon. Very soon. As soon as the Female Four make it to Dr. Game's clinic or meet up with Reader somewhere else and Reader makes a slontzy comment(which, knowing him, will be almost instantly). And suddenly the clinic is turning into a hang-out for the young ones. One of my Epics, Doctor Funtimes, used to have a League of Evil Exes. I'd had it in my head that she'd been an Epic for a few years, and in that time had dated quite a few fanon characters. Of course, I later realized her actions better fit an Epic still sliding toward full corruption and made her a much newer Epic, erasing her League from history, sadly enough. All of that is to say: You think we have suggestions? Do we EVER. The league of evil Exes did kind of end up in Shiny Sparkle's backstory, granted not the actual Epics, just the concept. I would like to say that her interactions with the other three will likely significantly change Scribblers planned character arc. Which is good because her arc was kind of depressing. Sparks, not counting the Astorian Epics, none of my Epics went with the character arc I planned.
Kobold King he/him Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 And suddenly the clinic is turning into a hang-out for the young ones. Now all we need there is a disco ball, bright flashing lights, and loud, raucous music, with perhaps a celebrity appearance to liven things up. By which I mean, Shiny Sparkle needs to start using her powers, Glamour needs to make his way to the clinic, and we need Taylor Swift in town ASAP. 2

We are having a party and Reader is the pinata! Winter, how are the chances of the next Brightdeath post? Also there's the question of wheter Autumn or Shiny Sparkle should go next. 1

I'm good with either.
Tulir he/him Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Quick and somewhat random question: Tulir, Aonar, what do your names mean? It was a I name I created for one of my first characters, and has sentimental value for me. Also, a few years ago, I learned it is a name of a town in Iran. Why?
Comatose he/him Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Almost caught up with the back story in The Dalles. I would just like to say that I LOVE Autumn Glass. She's phenomenal. 2

Edgedancer he/him Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I now know what his cutie mark should've been. I'm good with either. Care to share you revalation? I'm probably going to write something for Deathgale first, so Shiny Sparkle won't come until tomorrow at the earliest. If waiting for a bit isn't a problem I have no problems with going next. Hopefully I'll be able to get it up tonight. I'm busy with the SE game. (Seriously, though. That web of PMs...) No worries, it hasn't been that long. Just asking out of curiosity. Almost caught up with the back story in The Dalles. I would just like to say that I LOVE Autumn Glass. She's phenomenal. If you want proof for her being phenomenal just look how half the RP suddenly wants to Game's clinic now that she is there. 3

Cutie marks represent your special destiny, and Reader's special destiny is to be a piñata. No problem at all. I thought everyone headed down there because they heard Reader would show up and wanted a chance to see him pantsed. 2
Kobold King he/him Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 A piñata, of course! Cutie marks represent your special destiny, and Reader's special destiny is to be a piñata. I'll bear that in mind if I do a "What My Cutie Mark is Telling Me" cover for The Dalles. 1

Kobold King he/him Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Plot twist: Reader's cutie mark never goes anywhere. He remains the piñata throughout the entire song. Otherwise I was thinking of giving it to Backtrack. He may not deserve it as much as Reader, but we'd all love to see it nonetheless. Don't try to deny it. 3
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 A smashed in pinata? Nah, they are just practising for the "What happened in Autumn's office" spin off. What Happened in Autumn's Office: 1. It was very crowded. 2. Everyone liked it better than Reader's office. Otherwise I was thinking of giving it to Backtrack. He may not deserve it as much as Reader, but we'd all love to see it nonetheless. Don't try to deny it. Since I can neither confirm nor deny this statement, I will post a ninja smily for legal reasons. 5

Mailliw73 he/him Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Back when I first joined the site, I assumed all I would be doing would be lurking, so I chose a name I thought fit that. "Aonar Faileas" very roughly translates to "Lone Shadow" in Scottish Gaelic. The "Aaron Falaise" anagram was purely coincidental. It's convenient for SE games set on Earth, though. (Although I suppose my name IRL has Gaelic origins, so it's sort of similar?) Oh. That's not what I was guessing. Yeah, I thought maybe Aaron was your real name, so you made your username an anagram of it. Well, if I remember right, she would still need to tuch them. Naturally, that would still make pulling them down a lot easier. No, she doesn't have to have physical contact for friction. She stopped the pigs' baskets and sharpened knife in midair.

Although without Funtimes there to turn the building into a bouncy castle it's not as fun as the Portland great character meetup 3
Kobold King he/him Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Although without Funtimes there to turn the building into a bouncy castle it's not as fun as the Portland great character meetup I wasn't there for that one. Though whenever I hear about it I wish I'd signed up sooner. 2

Kobold King he/him Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Hey, you got the floating museum. That is true. (I still think it'll be a waste if we don't have at least one aerial battle involving the MoNA at some point. ) 2
Voidus Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I wasn't there for that one. Though whenever I hear about it I wish I'd signed up sooner. Neither was I, but it made for an awesome scene to read 1
Blackhoof Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 No apparent problems. Even though I'm pretty sure no one of our Epics would have any buisness down in Australia. ah, but that's the beauty of it- the Epic who told him that say... Lucetia or Vondra or Frequency sent him was lying through his teeth. Hellfire was paranoid about American Epics invading Australia, and expected an organised attempt to "colonise" it. So when this gang shows up, and they are all relatively weak, he assumed they have a powerful leader, and wont take no for an answer.
