She can look like Taylor, but can she form all of the speech muscles in the correct format to sound like her too? It seems like her weakness would activate pretty quickly if somebody asked her to sing a song. Another thing, with her moving around to try and find the real Taylor, it may be hard for her, since what goes on in the thread will mostly be tied to the story, rather than traveling. I don't have as much experience with this, so I may be wrong, so check with TwiLyghtSansSparkles or any of the other bigwigs first. Edgedancer will probably have some great feedback, so whenever he gets on, listen to him. He is really good at seeing the big picture and will know the best of where your character should go, and how she should be modified. Speaking from noob to noob(?), I have a few things to say. I have been here only a couple of months, so hopefully this will help you get acclimated. Join Astoria, it won't take long to get caught up, and you won't be entering without too much extra story to watch out for. Your character is also equal to the power level of Astoria, so I wouldn't worry about that. Another thing, is get a friend to help you out. I really appreciated Voidus's character (The Adventurer) meating up with mine (Lockvault). Having someone who knows what they are doing will be very helpful. If you look at my first Lockvault post, it was crap. I didn't know where I was going and it would have ended badly if I hadn't teamed up with Voidus. You don't need to stay with that person forever, but it might be nice to get to know how things are working.

I see my epic playing more of a supporting role to one of the more powerful epics, but she also has her own agenda, so she could end up in Dalles as well. Okay, here we go Epic Name: Taylor Swift. "That's right! I don't need a special epic name, because my name is already freaking special." Primary Power: Taylor swift is a powerful shape-shifter, able to adjust her shape and mass pretty much however she wants. It is difficult for her to maintain a form for more than a few seconds if it is more than five times or less than half of her total mass, but she can do it in a pinch. Also, the less humanoid a form is, the more difficult it is for her to maintain. For example, turning into a fully functional automobile might be totally beyond her, she would likely be able to change into a puddle of water for a few seconds, or a tiger or dog for a few minutes to a few hours depending on size and if she took liberties, but she could appear to be another person, complete with voice, eyes, and fingerprints, pretty much indefinitely (but why would she, she's Taylor Swift!). Being humanoid in shape gives her more flexibility (example: she can be a rubber skinned human much longer than she could be a cube of rubber). Generally, she stays herself, with helpful modifications when in battle (such as metal skin, sword hands, claws, growing to twice her usual size, or 'melting' to get through a crack in the door or window). She can only affect her own mass, but she's difficult to tie down or trap. Secondary Power: Not true secondary power, but her shape-shifting happens automatically when she's put in danger, granting her nearly prime invincibility. For example, if you tried to shoot her, either her skin would turn hard to repel the bullet, or it would shape shift AROUND the bullet, letting it pass right through her. If you tried to burn her, she shapeshift to withstand the fire. Try to drown her, she'd likely grow gills. The only way around this would be to somehow contain her (perhaps by using her weakness), and then either trap her underwater, in an airtight room, in a furnace, or some other environment that would require her to transform to survive, and then find a way to keep her there until she becomes unable to maintain the transformation any longer. Meeting the real Taylor Swift in the flesh would completely nullify her powers for as long as the true Taylor Swift remains in her presence. Ah, just to clarify something then when you said 'shapeshifter' I thought you were thinking more something like Knox who can turn completely into a few specific things rather than a fleshwarper like say in the game Prototype which is what I think you're saying, so just to say quickly that one of my planned characters for Astoria is something similar in being able to change their body but he can't do things like animals at all and he can't change into metal he can just move his own biomass around a bit to turn his arms into swords of bone and stuff like that.

I was going to suggest that too but you'd definitely need to ramp his power up a bit, if/when I introduce Bioterror to Astoria he'd be able to wipe him out pretty easily, as could Bloody Mary who's Edge's character since they can both directly manipulate non-Epics into pretty instant death.Maybe add a tertiary?Also your posts keep getting double posted for some reason

The shape-shift ability has a mental component, so as long as she is thinking about be like someone, she can mimic them down to their finger-prints. I decided to bring her into the Dalles, so that she could meet up with Glamour eventually. Right now I just have her walking down the highway, so anyone else is free to intercept her. In the mean time, I'm going to try to catch up so I at least have some idea of what is all going on in the thread, but for now, assume Taylor is mostly clueless 3
