I really liked working on the league of shadows and they seem to have been well received so I made another group of fire-related Epics:

The Flame of Heaven

Veritati(v2): Former priest obsessed with finding ‘heretics’, he believes that Epics are the Nephillim of the bible, sons and daughters of fallen angels who lay with human women. While his ability to control fire is almost non-existent, his ability to summon it is unrivaled. He can cause almost any object in his field of view to burst into flames. His wounds passively heal whenever they are engulfed in fire, and if conscious he will instinctively ignite any part of his body that is wounded, causing it to heal.

Fallen Phoenix: Teleporter capable of appearing in a burst of flame. He can also create lasting portals between any two fires, the fires will burn cold for the duration of the portaling effect, causing no damage to any objects transported through them.

Pyrelord: Capable of turning his body into fire hot enough to melt bullets, flying and shooting fire from his hands. Relatively standard fire Epic.

Hellfire: Can produce a black flame from his hands which is impossible to extinguish, the fire will burn until the next dawn or dusk. Hellfire can also use this fire to scry the future somewhat, able to foresee any sources of danger to him until the coming dawn/dusk.

Tartaros: Can summon fiery demonic beasts, these beasts are generally inclined to obey his orders but are not bound to do so and possess their own free will. He can to a degree choose the form of the beasts he summons.

Ok, I'm tired now, but saw the Astoria post so I am back in.

Vis Vires' Powerset:

Force Fields: Can create forcefields which are unbreakable and unmovable, any size, shape, and he just has to be able to see where the fields are being created.  They distort color slightly, so are visible.
Iron Body:  Vis has a forcefield directly underneath his skin, so he can't really get hurt.  A punch from the Hulk would still send him flying, but he wouldn't suffer from it.

Does he still conform to the strength of Astorian residents?

I'll start reading the other posts to see what I missed, expect a post from most of my characters in the next week.

The One Who Helps

The One Who Helps seems to be a mysterious person watching over Oregon.  They know what should happen and exactly who should do what, so when someone falls by the wayside and appears to stop function, TOWH steps in and controls their actions until they start resuming their place in the world.

The One Who Helps has appeared to have been puppeting Event Horizon, Aura, Hydron, Florist, Mundivore and Parity for the last while.

Explains what has happened to my characters

Also someone just posted this elsewhere: Fatal Memory Error
With capitals. So of course I am now obligated by the laws of 17th Shard to make it into an Epic.

Fatal Memory Error
Primary: Memory manipulation- The most powerful memory manipulator on the planet FME is capable of making people forget how to walk or breathe.

Anybody who's been on the forum long enough to cheerfully exclaim "And then Fatal Memory Error died" at the top of your lungs, raise your hand! :P

Would it bring back traumatic memories if I said this?

Sounds like one of those lovely messages my old PC used to invite me with before withdrawing into a black screen and sulking.

Adventurer post is up in Astoria, I imagine he'll quickly come to the attention of Bloody Mary with his near continuous teleportation, he's not very subtle.

Also what are we doing with Astorian characters weaknesses? Posting them to Edge? Twi? Both? Writing them out in flammable ink and burning it, sending their spirit to the Almighty?

Seems like we got another insane one. The time shortly after getting into the city is acrually when someone is best able to fly under the radar but you're right, he isn't exactly inconspicuous.

I'd be willing to take them.

Also, I'm still running for President on the "_____ for President" thread. Vote for me today and you'll get one free ponification of your choice. ;)

Already voted for you a long time ago. (how long is the vote going anyway?) I already got all my ponies covered, though, with the exception of Baxter, so I would take one of David's files. ;)

Edgedancer, I'm assuming if Blackwave were to get a bounty on Lucienta's head, you wouldn't be willing to let her die?

Ignoring that she isn't even in the city at the moment I don't think Blackwave even could physically kill her, when he' openly moving in to claim a bounty, subdue maybe.

Still seem alright. Actually is that forcefield only under his skin or would it also protect his insides from damage, for example swallowing glass?

With Blackwater and Winterspell in the city, I'd be worried about swallowing something even more deadly than glass: water.

True, but I'm more interest in the way his powers work than ways to kill him. A forcefield won't help against drowning but it might help if he gets shoot in the mouth, so I'm wondering if there's more than one layer.

Currently writting the next Lucentia post and am wondering how bickering I should go...

How blatantly do you want to foreshadow her and Lightwards' outhouse wedding?:P

Well Koschei isn't around anymore, so there isn't much competition.:P

It's sad when the next best choice to "tall, golden-haired, and regal" is a cranky professor we all agreed looks like a less attractive cross between Indiana Jones and Harry Potter. :P

Are you hinting at Koschei x Lucentia or Koschei x Lightwards?:P

The monster that keeps people from dying and the one that brings them back after dying. I'm not sure if that makes them a match made in heaven or eternal enemies. :P

She could marry his pony-self, that one is badchull. :P

I think it's the most terrifying love triangle yet. Also, if Twilight had featured that sort of love triangle, it would have probably been one of my favorites. :P

Yes. Yes, he is.

Storm it, Edgedancer. Now I want to re-write "The Perfect Stallion" for pony!Oregon.:P

Which Oregon stallion is "strangely obsessed with tubs of jelly," I wonder?

I don't know, but now I kind of want to make an Epic who fits that description.

There are a lot of things that would have made Twilight better. Acknowledging that the femal lead of the triangle is a terrible person would have been a good start.

Go ahead, non of us will mind. ;)

Let's see who would we cast as the CMC. It might make more sense to have them looking for someone for Lightwards, because one he's a teacher and two we could have the "are you talking about my brother sister" joke.

That would mean Nighthound would be one of the crusaders, Aldo would make sense in context and with him I suppose we can have Cricket tag along. Should you want to stay same gender maybe PP, Nathan... or Wes for comedy. :P

And that Carlisle is vastly more interesting than anyone else in the story, and that the entire series should've been about this religious vampire hunter who becomes the very thing he hunted and devoted his life to becoming a decent human being….rather than about a sparkling sociopath hollering about how he has the skin of a killer as he shines like a disco ball. <_<

Nathan would not help Nighthound with anything, unless he was "helping" him into a volcano. But Wes searching for the perfect mate for Lightwards has so much potential it would be morally wrong not to do it. :P

Not having read the books, when you said "Carlisle" my first thought was Jeff Carlisle, AKA Purple Phoenix. Who also would have made the books ten times more interesting, I'm sure. :P

I wasn't meaning drowning. If Winterspell can freeze and manipulate the water, he could cause a spike to form in his stomach and destroy his lungs or heart. I think it would be awesome if he can't be killed that way. Winterspell comes up and thinks he can take him out and his icesteel doesn't do anything and he just sits there like, "what now?"
