JakeStidham
How's it going everyone? I am a big Sanderson fan, but haven't gotten very deep into theory as some of you nut cases (I mean that in the most endearing way possible). I've read all his books and re-read most of them multiple times... I just can't get enough! I feel like I'm a Sanderson Missionary, I constantly spread the good word of Cosmere to all who will hear me. I'm looking forward to reading the forums and hopefully I'll be able to contribute. Storms this is going to be fun!!!

vineyarddawg
Welcome! And I wouldn't take that cookie... What books have you read? (Don't want to spoil something you haven't read!)

JakeStidham
I'm say work right now, but this is a good way to spend a ten minute break right? To answer your questions... Favorite book would have to be The Way of Kings. It is incredibly expansive and full of lore... Really, really full. My favorite magic system is a toss up between the Stormlight Archives and Warbreaker, although the Stormling Archives is still unraveling. I am a big fan of the originality in both books in terms of taking common magical abilities (making things moves, super power-esque sight and hearing, flying, and whatnot) and explaining it with a refreshingly original Magic system. Some books don't even take the time to explain their magic!! The audacity!! I guess that's wgy I'm a Sanderson fan. And I have read all his Tornpublished novels as well as his Infinity Blade and Legion novellas... I don't think there are any I haven't read!
+Slowswift he/him
I retract all of my previous statements about the evils of cookies and offer you one, spike-filled -free of course, as a welcoming gift.
Coneboi
"Yes, the cookies are harmless and healthy...plus delicious" *ponders for a moment while pulling out a bag from pocket* "No, really." *crunching on a cookie*
JakeStidham
I feel so torn... Cookies = delicious. The cookies you offer = suspicious. But delicious > suspicious... It's simple math. Therefore, I accept all cookies offered... No matter the filling and ingredients! And if they do contain hemalurgic qualities, I would be overly pleased.
