What do people think of this series? Should of stayed a trilogy? Good how it was? Haven't heard of it? Any comments welcome =)

Thanks for commenting =) Just have a question for the sake of detail and interest. Where would you say the books were lacking? What aspects in particular?

The first book grabbed me really hard, sucked me right in and I was pumped for the series, but as each book went further I lost interest.

Certainly worth reading if anyone wants something different, or interested in trying an Aussie author.

I've only read Across the Nightingale Floor and I thought it was pretty good.

The only concern I had was Lian Hearn didn't spend enough time developing the characters, otherwise it's a fantastic read.

My grandad leant me the book and we're both looking for Grass For His Pillow at the moment; book-stores aren't exactly extensive in this country.
