Iredomi Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 What do people think of this series? Should of stayed a trilogy? Good how it was? Haven't heard of it? Any comments welcome =)
Brendan Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Worth reading, but nothing special. Certainly something a bit different.
Iredomi Posted August 9, 2012 Author Posted August 9, 2012 Thanks for commenting =) Just have a question for the sake of detail and interest. Where would you say the books were lacking? What aspects in particular?
Brendan Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 The first book grabbed me really hard, sucked me right in and I was pumped for the series, but as each book went further I lost interest. Certainly worth reading if anyone wants something different, or interested in trying an Aussie author.
Lady_Yasha she/her Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 (edited) I've only read Across the Nightingale Floor and I thought it was pretty good. The only concern I had was Lian Hearn didn't spend enough time developing the characters, otherwise it's a fantastic read. My grandad leant me the book and we're both looking for Grass For His Pillow at the moment; book-stores aren't exactly extensive in this country. Edited August 14, 2012 by Lyrebon
