Images in Signature

Hey I've been having some trouble trying to get a picture in my signature. I put one in and when I click save it disappears. Can anyone help me with this?

You should be able to, though I did disable gif support as it made the site load very slow. Just use

[IMG=(insert your link here without parentheses)]

Okay, so I know this is a bit of a necropost, but since the thread is short, I thought I'd save making a new topic. I'm trying to add an image, and I'm comfortable with both BBCode and HTML, but no matter what I do, I get either just straight text or a URL tag. I've tried images hosted on Dropbox and Imgur. Any suggestions?

Try using http://i.imgur.com/s2eVSaB.jpginstead, that seems to work for me.

Basically, Jondesu, what happened is that in your first attempt, that's a link to the imgur webpage. The second is the direct link to only the image, which you need.

Makes sense. I'm sure I did the same with the Dropbox version too, I so rarely host anything those ways that I didn't think about it. I would have tried putting it on one of my other website's server, but I was assuming the problem was with the BBCode. :-P
