Everyone else's version of a Mexican standoff:

"Give me those glasses back or I'll shoot!"

Backtrack's version:

"Give me those glasses back or--ah, scary eyes, scary eyes, I'm sorry, please don't turn me into a newt, I'm sorry!"

"All right, no more Mister Nice Guy! ... uh, I mean, can I just have five minutes to say goodbye? I've had those for a while."

You thought you had to ask? Of course I do! :P

Alright, I´m gonna play it up hard then. You won´t even need you shipping glasses for the Glass ship. :P

"All right, no more Mister Nice Guy! ... uh, I mean, can I just have five minutes to say goodbye? I've had those for a while."

The only think Backtrack could possibly do is ask someone else to help him. However, his attempt to do so would be so whiny that even Lucentia would avert her head in disgust, making the success of that plan impossible. :P

And ShinySparkle proves that an Epic whose power is sparkly explosions is not subtle about the shipping. :P

Now I must choose: have her stiffen and rebuff her new flame, or give Reader something to put in those slashfics of his? :P

I have to write about Attila the Hun for something entirely unrelated, but when I'm finished I can write a new Backtrack post.

Backtrack/Unhappiness shippers are in for a treat. :P

As the sparkles drifted towards the ground, the new Epic turned Autumn around and looked her in the eyes. And Autumn smiled, slightly, and giggled faintly.

All the while, the observer waited above, unbeknownst to her, a single tear falling from his face onto the basket floor.

I don't know, it's up to you :P

Sisters seperated at birth or just characters with similar traits? You decide! :P

I promise that Shiny Sparkle will neither blow Autumn up nor force her into the relationship, so the decision is all yours. She probably won´t just stop all approaches though.

An assignment?

You can just say "all of us" you know? ;)

I think you all know what I'm going with. :P

Also, I think Backtrack/Unhappiness may be the most popular ship in this game.

Not exactly. Writing a history sidebar for a homeschooling curriculum. Homeschooling curricula is sort of the family business; my name will be on the cover of the book upon its completion.  ^_^ (My real name. I asked but apparently they won't put "Kobold King" on the cover.)

With Shiny Sparkle's advances towards Autumn, we'll finally have something to add under "Foe Yay" on our TV Tropes page. :P

Don't forget Ship Tease. :P

That´s impressive. :)

It might fall more under Ho/Les Yay. Foe Yay would be a nacked Nighthound hugging Nathan, if not for the fact that Nighthound is inherently No Yay.

Nighthound is No Yay personified. I'm almost inclined to classify the naked-Nighthound-hugging-Nathan moment as "And I Must Scream."

I think squick would be more appropriate. Maybe add in some Fan Disservice

Every time Nighthound smiles, it's Fan Disservice. :o

If What Happened in Oregon were ever made into a film, Nighthound's smile alone would secure it an R rating.

His face couldn't be on a single poster for fear the movie would be banned in 120 countries.

Also, if anyone had a post for The Dalles they wanted to do, don't feel obliged to wait for me. I won't be able to post until tonight or tomorrow.

Nighthound was the only character to be portrayed entirely in CGI, as no actor wanted to be associated with him. A different animation team was used for every Nighthound frame of the movie to avoid causing lasting trauma to the animators. One team was used to animate two frames of his infamous smirk, and required hefty psychological counseling for the next three months.

Understood.

They tried to make a pupet to spare the animators but the result got burned before anyone could ever see it. Apparrently its creator was to skillful for his own good.

Backtrack has some catching up to do. This is gonna be fun. :P

A few audiences complained about the decision, saying that the actor playing Nathan couldn't possibly convey the appropriate horror during the infamous hugging scene if he wasn't actually being hugged. This actor responded to the critics in an interview, and was quoted as saying that "if we found the perfect Nighthound actor, and we actually did that scene as written, the rest of the movie would be 90 minutes of screams."

If previous experiences are anything to go by, Backtrack + internal suffering = popular post. :P

Most naysayers were silenced by the decision to cast David Tennant with dyed ginger hair as Nathan. The resulting awesomeness, for most critics, easily made up for the other complaints.

Could David Tennant pull off an American accent? I think he could. :D

Can whoever voiced Fluttershy play Voidgaze?

Funnily enough, Andrea Libman voiced both Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. And Voidgaze has shades of both. :D

Didn't we previously agree on Jeremy Irons as Lightwards, in the far-off days of the first Question thread?

The voice would be amazing but sadly I don´t think Libman looks the part. AndreaLibman.png (I also just found out that she voices both Fluttershy and Pinky Pie. )

Out of curiosity, is only what Autumn says being recorded or given how close she is Shiny Sparkle as well?

Yeah, she looks a little too...not timid.

Everything Autumn and whoever is within a 5 ft radius of her will be clearest; those up to about 10 ft will be recorded but not as clear. So all of their, um, flirting will be there on tape. :D
