And do you no longer hide behind the name of your old master? I am told that in your current incarnation you’ve taken a name that references what you presume to be one of your virtues." The writer of the letter chose the words "... In your current incarnation..." this could be another clue that hoid has the ability of resurrection/reincarnation. Because if he only changed names and looks, the word disguise, form etc would have been better.
