I just finished steel heart. Now I want something else. Can anyone help me? I think I want to read more of Brandon's work. I'm not picky, since reading Steelheart, he made me want to read all of his book, but the question is what next? Thanks!

I have read:

Mistborn

Warbreaker

WOK

WOR

Steelheart

What next? I've tried reading wheel of time but it bores. Thanks! :)

P.S.

Steel heart is really great, damnation, Mr. Sanderson is epic.

Elantris, although I usually recommend reading it before Mistborn and Stormlight since the timing's not as good in Elantris.

Definitely add Elantris to the the List.
If you are hungry for more Sanderson, Legion and the Emperor's Soul are both good, as it "The Rithmatist"

If you are looking for something a little different, I have been Enjoying "The Gentlemen Bastards". Reads like a Heist Movie, in fantasy Venice.

You've read almost all his other Cosmere novels, might as well read Elantris next (it's also fantastic). Moreover, when you say that you've read Mistborn, I presume you mean the whole trilogy? If so, consider Allow of Law, as it is a fun, banter-filled slightly more modern Mistborn! If not, then why not finish the trilogy? The Well of Ascension is the second book, followed by The Hero of Ages.

Edit:

The Rithmatist was also a very fun read. It is rather juvenile though, as far as reading level. Though it is classified as "teen", like Steelheart, it is definitely meant for younger teens and the YA market, unlike Steelheart.

Thanks! I'll definitely try to find Elantris, ah, so that's why Steelheart is short, it's for teens. Yeah, already finished the mistborn trilogy, and AOL too.

On the list so far. Thanks guys!

Elantris (priority).

Rithmatist.

Once you read Elantris, his novella The Emperor's Soul, is a great read. His other novella's are good too if you can get them. Let's be honest, all his work is good.

WARBREA-

Oh, you already read it?

Well, I'm out of ideas.

But yeah, if you haven't yet, finish the Mistborn trilogy, then... everyone is recommending Elantris. I can't, but that's because I haven't actually read it myself, for the reason Voidus said; Elantris was Brandon's first novel, and he's improved since then. It might be all in my head, but for some reason, I just can't get into that book because of it... it isn't bad, but after his later ones, it feels... less good.

LEGION

I enjoy Legion, because it is so different to what I am used to.

Although, I have also finished "The Magicians" by Lev Grossman, which reads very much like a mature crossover of Narnia and Hogwarts, but with a darker, mature feel to it. Keeping it grounded, while still having a fairytale feel to it... A Classic Fairytale though... dark and deadly.

Its hard to explain, but is worth a read.

I need to check that out, I think; I love those classic fairy tales.

And I especially love mentioning them to people who are only familiar with the Disney versions.

... Er... right, to remain on topic...

If you want other books besides Brandon, maybe you should check out the things he recommends? I don't know how far you got in Wheel of Time, but I thought the third book was a big improvement on the previous ones (even if I haven't started to read the rest of the series yet).
