Elite01 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Given that Brotherwise sent out an email recently that a stonewalker sequel is in the works what do you think it can cover while staying canon compliant? It seems like it will focus on large scale conflicts for sure. I think it’s likely that we get more information on the cognitive realm so they can set the stage for workshopping adventures. but what do yall think? Spoiler Not sure if this is considered a spoiler Would someone in shinovar give us a quest assuming the group of heroes returned Talns honorblad to shinovar?
Jult Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago There's a good amount of wiggle room to work with based just on the timeline of Stonewalkers. It seems to end after Oathbringer, but before Dawnshard and RoW. That's close to a year of in-world time to work with. Some notable things that happened offscreen between OB and RoW: Spoiler Highprinces Vamah and Thanadal were assassinated The Fused invade and capture a ton of territory Herdaz is hit particularly hard if memory serves The Vorin Church deals with the fallout from news of the Almighty's death and the return of the desolations I do like the idea of getting a follow-up quest from Shinovar. Technically, Stonewalkers should end when.. Spoiler You return Taln's Honorblade to Rit-daughter-Clutio, so she can use it for her fight with Szeth in WaT. She's likely already under Ishar's influence when you meet her. And we know that the shaman who sent Tazso to the players in Stonewalkers were under Ishar's influence. So, I wouldn't be surprised if Ishar continued pulling our party's strings. The end of the adventure gives several suggestions for where to go after the adventure is completed in the "Continuing Your Campaign" section: Spoiler Return to Rall Elorim to aid in the resistance movement. Join the refounded Knights Radiant in Urithiru. Find Nale and work with the Skybreakers. Return to Alethkar or Azir, now besieged by Odium’s forces. Travel across Roshar, helping communities and towns ruined by the Everstorm. Take the fight to Odium on their own, with or without helping Dalinar’s Coalition. Bond with Tyche and discover the machinations of Sja-anat, the Taker of Secrets. IMO, these would all also be decent directions to theorize in because we can be sure someone at Brotherwise thought about them at least a little while writing the list. I'm a big fan personally of the final option they give. Mostly because I think it would come with the most interesting lore reveals. 1
