A) Radiant spren are people too! Or at least just as sapient and intelligent as humans! I'd say Radiant spren go beyond "abstract concept of reality", even if others might be just that. Ok so just to clarify

I was not neutral

I just pointed out that rather than debate the actual concept, people were just getting legitimately mad and yelling at each other. It was entirely just a heated shouting match

Ok here let me present my *real* case

I am aromantic. Yeah sure, most people might not feel things this way because of their differences, but many people do share this perspective I have despite them maybe not being aromantic.

I do not feel romantic attraction. So instead, I place a lot of value on platonic love. I don't like it being seen as 'lesser', because I just don't see it that way. So the idea that 'oh they are nice to each other so they must be looooooove' is an idea that I hate. I hate it with all my being because I can love people with all my heart and soul, just as friend. So when people ship 2 people (or beings) from which there is absolutely no standard for, I despise it. Because it feels like you are saying, "people can't love like that and just be friends. If 2 people show a healthy relationship, they are either in love or its all a sham". And I don't like that because I don't feel love. So calling all my relationships in which I feel real feelings 'not real' hurts.

When they first met and for a while afterwards, she’s for all intents and purposes a child

I don't watch a ton of anime so I can't say.

For Syl however that's just how the bond works.

We see similar things with Pattern, Timbre, Design, and the Stormfather, all of whom are adults by their standards.

I completely accept that. I simply offer that, while I wholeheartedly agree that these relationships don't have to become romantic, that doesn"t mean they have to stay platonic. I offer this from LewsTherinTelescope:

But. There’s that one honor spren who’s name I’m forgetting who’s the ship captain, and he said that the radiant bond was far more intimate than marriage, so… gf/bf seems rather tame in comparison
