I'm bad at rhyming

I've been told it's all about timing

But hey least

I can welcome man and beast

I am a poet—

I consider myself so,

though if I am one,

I don't always know.

 

My poems are strange;

Odd and deranged—

Like me,

Like you?

 

You even got my name,

That of the dame,

Not the meme—

The inverting beam.

 

This thread is new,

So obviously true that

I had no need it say it,

But I did, why?

 

I cannot sing but

At least I can think some-

Times, 'cept when I can't, then

I shut down, stop my strut.

Hey this thread is pretty cool

It makes me feel nice inside

Even though it's probably been tried

Out there I'm like a Ghoul

Still thankful I don't have to hide
