Way of Kings Trailer

I made a Way of Kings trailer (for the book / show (yay Stormlight show)):

 

EXAMPLE SCENE:

Music Description

Someone talking

Scene description

 

 

 

Music starts a large powerful emotional piece.

Speak again the ancient oaths. (voiceover)

Blackness.

 

Music stops

Let me tell you a story (Hoid)

Cut to Hoid, a slender man with sharp, "arrow-like" features, a hawk-like nose, and often, deep black hair.

 

Music starts again as a soft quiet background, slowly crescendos until “TURNED LEADER”

A story of a Surgeon, 

Cut to Kaladin, a man with dark tan skin and black, curly hair and an athletic build , doing surgeon work.

 

turned Warrior

Cut to Kaladin killing battling people

 

Of an Artist

Cut to Shallan, a striking, long, straight reddish-auburn hair and light blue eyes, with pale skin with a light dusting of freckles on her nose and cheeks, drawing on a boat.

 

Turned thief

Cut to Shallan swapping the Soulcasters

 

Of a worshiper

Cut to Szeth, a short, bald, and pale-skinned man, with unnaturally large, round eyes dancing around a rock.

 

Turned assassin

Cut to Szeth killing a king.

 

Of a Warlord

Cut to Dalinar, tan skin, black hair graying at the temples, and blue eyes, killing people.

 

Turned Leader 

Music stops

What’s the most important step a man can take? (stormfather)

The next one, always the next one. (stormfather)

Cut to Dalinar looking up at a large face made of clouds (stormfather) on top of a humongous tower holding a book.

 

Music crescendos back to what it was at the beginning.

Speak again the ancient oaths.

Stop music.

Cut to blackness. 

 

LIFE BEFORE DEATH

STRENGTH BEFORE WEAKNESS

JOURNEY BEFORE DESTINATION! (ALL)

Cut to a screen split four ways with four faces, Kaladin, Shallan, Szeth, and Dalinar, speaking the words (purple).

 

Final drum boom as the screen flashes to black.

Nice

But I dont know if I would place this amount of importance on Dalinars and especially Szeths Backstory

Also maybe exchange Hoid in the beginning for the Sleepless since the original Blurbs on the Back are from their POV

Please don't hate me too much, but I'm wondering what you'd get if you fed that script into AI and told it to make a video. Might be total slop, but it would still be interesting to see what it came up with.

Nevermind. I just read that AI content is banned. Would love if the owner/mods would reconsider that rule and make an AI only thread or forum.

I'm still curious as to why you think an AI art forum is a good idea, but I can understand if you do not want to discuss (it's OT for this thread), but we could start a new one if you do want to discuss.

Not trying to change your opinions, just hoping to understand.

Okay, the forum admin got back to me with a reply of why letting AI on the forums wouldn't be the best idea. Have to say I agree with their points.

However, you could still just as easily post this script to Reddit, requesting that someone please use their AI to turn this into a video. I'm sure somebody would be curious enough to do it. If it happens, and if you're comfortable with it, please PM me with a link. I'd love to see it!

I don’t really know if he drew inspo from me, maybe he did, but it’s pretty different (Fizz it’s not letting me ping you but this is awesome btw)

I am pretty sure making a digital trailer was against his policy, yeah, but I don’t remember for sure
