I received an email about how the Wandersail story had a video associated with it. They try to describe the essence of the story:

Who Are You Talking To Meme

That last part is accurate, but hope?! It's the same story as in WoK. They kill a serving girl for nothing and then the society tears itself apart when they find out the Emperor is dead.

I guess they'd rather entice with nonsense then say "this is some dark stuff actually"

they probably just put some generic crem there. tbh whenever i see crap like that i just glaze over it cuz it all says the same thing in the end, so it really doesn't matter. basically just saying "this story is good. watch/read it. thank you for coming to my ted talk."

EDIT: basically when u see a boilerplate enough, it ends up meaning nothing. it's like ai-generated text. it's like ... you either know what it's gonna end up saying or know it's basically gonna end up saying nothing (or, something with very little meaning / nothing meaningful). If I see something like "Blah Blahson was a revolutionary figure who pioneered the field of BlahBlah" then I'll just stop reading. If I see "this is a tale of hardship, joy, overcoming something, yada-yada" then I don't needa read the rest. i hate generic/boilerplates. Sure, they have their uses, but that doesn't mean I can't dislike them. At the very least, I just ignore them, unless it's of a variety that could be important or I haven't seen before.

overall, hope is just a generic filler word and probably doesn't mean anything, or at least something very vague that applies to too many things to be meaningful.

Hopefully that all wasn't too off-topic
