I am—unfortunately—new to Alleycity. I wouldn't normally take anything, but I have nowhere to sleep or to maintain myself. I, however, am extremely curious and unnerved by the spiked man who chased us. Who is that? What powers does he have? Is he a Steel Inquisitor? Why were you locked up in that complex? The woman who chased us appeared to recognize you." "Why is that? I apologize for my questions, but I generally find that information is powerful. And, to thank you for bringing me here, I would like to ask if there is anything more that you need. While I might not be able to do much, I may be able to help you somewhat." @Lunamor When Aradan shook her hand, Eza attempted to sneakily slide one of his rings off his finger and palm it. She felt rather guilty about it, but it was just so shiny and he had so many of them. She immediately started answering his questions, trying to divert his attention away from her actions to her voice. ”The spiked man is called Perses. He calls himself Prince of the Alleys, which is stupid. His spikes give him iron and steel allomancy. He’s also got feruchemical tin, and rumor says he’s got allomantic bronze too. He’s not a Steel Inquisitor.” Aradan seemed to be from the Scadrial of her time, based on his allomancy and knowledge of guns. He must be pretty sheltered to think people with spikes in their eyes must be Inquisitors. ”Monsters like him still exist where we come from.” She absentmindedly scratched at the large scar stretching from her chin to her temple. “I was locked up in the complex because I took something from those people. I don’t know who they were, but some of them were spiked, so they must be bad. The woman who chased us is named Fenna. She and I fought against monsters under Perses’s control, once. Like, literal monsters. It’s weird here.” Aradan’s last statement weirded Eza out a bit. She wasn’t sure why he was being so nice to her. She nabbed a vial of iron from one of her many stashes and downed it. ”You’ve got a really weird piece of metal on you.” She flared her iron, then pointed where the strange line she had noticed earlier led. ”It’s not a spike, I know what those are like. He could've stayed to finish him off, but the Leeching still chilled him, and he had to be more careful. And he couldn't afford to waste any more time. As Midas called for help from behind him, Ebon raced down the corridor, and reached a circular gate. The cell block. It was locked, but Ebon was prepared. He pulled the identification card he'd taken from the officer earlier, and raised it to a scanner in the center of the gate. A few seconds, and something clicked. Ebon waited patiently as gears spun, a hiss of air was released, and the circular door opened a couple inches. Immediately, he grabbed onto the crack and heaved, opening it fully. He looked inside. The gate led into another, dimly lit corridor, the walls replaced with two parallel rows of cells. Each cell was separated from the central passage by aluminum bars. The entire area was dull; no color for awakening. These were the simple cells; superpowered criminals would be held somewhere more special. But Ebon's target wasn't superpowered. He stepped into the corridor, and began to search. 11 hours ago, Through the Living Ink said: Cayansa, New Hallandren, New Hallandren Garrison Cayansa nodded at Limel's explanation, moving to grab their notebook to write it down - but no, that had been taken with the rest of their bag. Ba-bump. Ba-bump. Ba-bump. Panic began setting in, and his mind called back to that horrid house. A twisting maze of nothing, where his senses could not be trusted. With horror, he remembered the manor’s name. Wickwillow manor. His Wickwillow manor. No. Belias’ manor. Hush, Perses. He tapped his senses. All of them. He needed a rush of senses to get him out of this. But when he tapped his metalminds, nothing happened. The darkness persisted. What? Hush, Perses. Come home. Ba-bump. Ba-bump. Ba— Quote For those that would happen to have saw what had occurred, they would see Perses then calmly got up and steel pushed towards Mistkeep.

Reyx paused mid-glint. Uh... wait, so it's actually not them? Unless they're bluffing? But then why would they...? Lightweavers are supposed to be good at lying? Or was that Truthwatchers? Wait, no, I'm a Truthwatcher! No I'm not, I'm a spren! Are these the people who blew things up? "Oh," they say eloquently, a flurry of light. "Wait, are you hurt? From the smoke?" I think humans can die of Too Much Smoke? I don't know about the Singers, though. Spren shouldn't, but antilight - well, that would have caused an explosion. Is their human okay? Is the spren? @It is I, God. Lux, New Hallandren, New Hallandren Garrison Oh yeah. The smoke. Suffocation. I think I might be dying. Whatever, I'll be fine. "No. I'm fine. Are... Are you?"

Reyx laughed awkwardly, sounding more like breaking glass than any recognisable imitation of human emotion. "Well. Not most of the time, anyway." Smoke danced in their vision, as though attempting to conceal both spren and human. "Why are you here?" Reyx eventually settled on asking, then, because they didn't want this to sound like an interrogation, added, "I got arrested." Wait. Storm it. Do I sound like a criminal now?

Throwing some money at him didn’t make it feel like she’d yet repaid her debt. The group would likely still be looking for her, anyways, so helping investigate them might be of use to her. She also was really starting to doubt Aradan’s odds of survival if he continued alone. Following a mugger into a secret meeting with an evil organization seemed like a really poorly thought out idea, and it had indeed gone rather poorly. @Qianweilian Aradan Liese, Mistwarrens "Luckily, I already know where I can find him. That is, if he wasn't captured and brought somewhere else. Don't feel as if you have to repay me further. You helped me escape as well, bringing me here. That was risky for you to do, you could have just run off." Aradan walked towards the door and grasped the handle. "If you need anything more, please speak now. I don't really have a reliable place for you to send a message." @Lunamor Quote Sorry for posting later, I have a lot of homework this time of year. @Steel Speedster, is Thav just going to be at the hideout?

Fizz9 Posted April 10 Posted April 10 (edited) The Sphere, New Urithuru Valov opened his eyes. His first full day in Alleycity. He left his bed, and fell to the floor, getting ready for the day. Valov checked every last thing he could possibly need, a bag, lots of stormlight, some accessories. That was it. It was time to go. "I guess we're doing this." He whispered. Valov felt a soft squeeze around his ankles. He looked down to see Jella, the Cultivationspren. Valov walked out of his small room. Looking around for anyone there. Hopefully they could tell him what to do. Spoiler Can someone tell me who is there, if at all? This is my first post in the Alleyverse! My character is in the signups if you need it. Also, there's a Fused attacking. He was friendly when I saw him earlier, so I don't understand why." As they spoke, they drifted slowly towards the spren in the smoke, hoping to be able to see them. 7 hours ago, Fizz9 said: The Sphere, New Urithuru Valov opened his eyes.
