Hello. I’m pureintonation. I’m writing an OC fanfic based on Roshar :3

I’m in a bit of a Sanderson hole because I want to keep my fic as close to canon as possible. Like it could make sense in the world. It’s like… a challenge for myself to come up with an original story and characters with the constraints of the Cosmere. I hope to keep the momentum going and at least finish and publish Part 1 somewhere on the internet.

Then I need to take a lil break from Brando Sando Can you help me choose between the following? I’m eyeing Howl’s Moving Castle, Earthsea, or Sabriel.

Can you help me choose? I’m eyeing Howl’s Moving Castle, Earthsea, or Sabriel. 

wdym by "help you choose"? Also, I recommend not having the font size so large, as it actually makes it harder to read and takes up a lot of space (ftfy).

Hahahahaha! I made the post on my phone and have the font there set really large because of my job, I guess it did that automatically. I will edit it.

And I mean, which of the three books should I read?

Are you asking for book recommendations then? Of those three? I've not read any of those, but I watched the Howl's Moving Castle film.

Edit: also, I think your pronoun field should either be empty or have accurate pronouns ("she/her," "he/they," etc.) I don't believe "egg" is appropriate.

Egg has multiple meanings, you know... (not in a bad way)

Anyway, there is a whole reading recommendations thread, and I even added some suggestions there. Oh it does look interesting. And i love a way to trick my brain into thinking we’re taking a very normal doomscroll before bed (but actually reading)

Huh it’s been a minute since I read anything else besides Stormlight. So all the magic system rules are fuzzy. 
 

but for the sake of creativity i’ll pick one and try to make it work

i guess like theoretically you could build a machine and kinda like program each part to do a task with a Breath, no? As far as I know it doesnt run out either so the machine would be powered forever

mistborn, stormlight, warbreaker, and tress so far 

 

unless u meant other books in my life which is a lot… but notably i came upon sanderson when i finally accepted that a song of ice and fire would never be finished and i needed to fill the void
