Zebra was pretty obvious to me, as was Weasel, but I think Zebra was the only guy who I had a read off on that basis. Everyone else was just /shrug territory which kinda dovetailed with my resolve to just play the game. I did have guesses for you, Ivory, Rhino, and Albatross but they get blurry over time, but I was never very good at guessing people so that tracks

Like, if the village hits 3/5 elims at any point in the game it is super snowball-y... and if the elims are winning it looks like a normal game. Even with 2 e!coinshots it's not that snowball-y for elims with 4(or 5) lurchers, and 4 MB who have a 1/4 chance to have a protect role... But this is not a criticism I had fun and that's all that matters. It was also cool watching the thread reactions to all the claims and we wouldn't have gotten that in a different game. I do think that no v!Kandra would have fixed the biggest balance issue. Alternatively, make the e!team= 2 Seekers, 2 Kandra, 1 Rioter. The reason is now with the full team there are always 2 who can submit the NK. Next, less than half the team is seekers (important because of Kandra), additionally, by having 2 seekers and 2 Kandra, what you are implying to the elims is you can spend your Kandra to deny Seeker from village or to aggressively take roles. You then can give village Kandra or not. But I'd say give the elims a single digit Kandra and a double digit gen (and village 1 or 2 in the middle). Then they think (rightly) they can guarantee steal a role or risk it and then there is strategy in which Kandra gets used. to your point though a big part of our problem was no matter what happened on the day cycles, the rollover crew where most of the active players in the game and so we didn't get much of a say how the end of the day went. Accidentally voted on a teammate D1 which ended up getting me killed Day 2. Though I was hoping my discussion of Octo would bail me out there. I am still somewhat baffled as to why the village almost exed Octo D2, though in light of the distro it makes a bit more sense. I realized partway through the day that defending Octo 100% would be something of an elim tell once he flipped village CS. I’m not really sure I have comprehensive distro thoughts. Probably the main thing is that I’m not a fan of a setup where villagers can both be unkillable (multiple Lurchers) and have a Seeker. That puts a ton of pressure of inevitability on the elims, where every blocked kill feels extra bad because you know either a villager was cleared or a teammate has been outed. None of that really ended up mattering this game due to our blunders and crazy village competency, but I think removing the village Kandra would go a long way toward making this setup better, while still holding to its essence. The mistborn would still be a potential problem there (being able to scan the CS and Lurcher claims, notably) but I think they would feel more manageable.

Oh I normally love thunderdoming but in this game it was kind of pointless as with 15 players left even if I got you to exe flamingo I assume I'd just be shot the next night. Though if someone wanted to take Fifths honorary elim title maybe someone would be willing to protect me? xD We weren't really able to plan together and the day everyone was roleclaiming I was stupidly busy so it was really challenging to make a plan. Seeker was what I went with purely because I thought I might be able to prove myself with the soft claim and avoid+flip the kandra before they claimed. But then everyone claimed and it was too late imo to change my claim. The funny thing is, I too forgot what a thunderdome was and had to look it up when I saw that lol Wait... you mean my game decisions where I played into who I was to appear less suspicious were completely unnecessary?????
