TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted December 6, 2014 Author Posted December 6, 2014 Our just desserts? EDIT: OMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSH Really? Yep. It should be up and running here in the next few days.
Edgedancer he/him Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 I wish. Heads up, it´s only one more month. Muhahahaha! I´m all knowing! Our just desserts? EDIT: OMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSH Really? Yes but for some reason it´s in the inactive RP section... don´t ask me why.
Kobold King he/him Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Yep. It should be up and running here in the next few days. A dedicated "What Happened in Oregon" board, or a more generic play-by-post games repository?
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted December 6, 2014 Author Posted December 6, 2014 A dedicated "What Happened in Oregon" board, or a more generic play-by-post games repository? A Reckoners sub-forum. I requested it be described as a free-form RP forum, so it looks like it'll be just these games for now. I wanted to leave room for other spinoffs in the future ("What Happened in Hawaii," "What Happened in Alaska," "What Happened in the Library of Congress" for starters) but it's all ours.
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 "What Happened in the Library of Congress" Ooh, are we combining the Reckoners with Alcatraz?

Celebration time! It also leaves room for a Europe and/or Equestria sepuel we´ve been joking about. Will you get some kind of sub-Admin power to close the old Questions? Ooh, are we combining the Reckoners with Alcatraz? Voidgaze gets the breaking talent.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted December 6, 2014 Author Posted December 6, 2014 Ooh, are we combining the Reckoners with Alcatraz? Maybe. (Still need to read the first book. Checked it out from the library, but since I'm in the middle of finals and rereading Steelheart to help me de-stress, I gave it to my sister first.) I just said LOC because I'm working on a pathfinder for high school civics students and the LOC is one of the resources. Celebration time! It also leaves room for a Europe and/or Equestria sepuel we´ve been joking about. Will you get some kind of sub-Admin power to close the old Questions? Voidgaze gets the breaking talent. I'm not sure. Should I ask?
Edgedancer he/him Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Maybe. (Still need to read the first book. I just said LOC because I'm working on a pathfinder for high school civics students and the LOC is one of the resources. I'm not sure. Should I ask? It will open your eyes to the slow indoctrination of your current career. It´s also one of the funniest books I have ever read, so that´s still something should you fall into denial. (Admiddetly I only read the first two but I already bought the third one and will probably read it tomorow on my 5 hours and 30 minutes train trip to a week long work seminar.) It would certainly make things smoother in the long run.

Jo and the Bush all/any Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Having Read all 5 of them, I recommend finishing the series wholeheartedly. How did I read the 5th book you ask? Alcatraz and I were school buddies before he learned about his heritage. He gave me a sneak peek of the ending.

Alcatraz and I were school buddies before he learned about his heritage. He gave me a sneak peek of the ending. Nice try, but Alcatraz did not have school buddies you rotten liar. Furthermore how would he have given you a retelling for events that didn´t happen yet? Furtherfurthermore, I´m willing to bet money that it was a fake ending like the false second ending of book two.

It would certainly make things smoother in the long run. Oh, I'm already aware of the indoctrination of my current career. Some of the classes I've taken have been genuinely interesting (like the Ethics course I took during my second semester, or the Public Library Administration course I took last semester) but the American Library Association is another thing entirely. I'm a member. I had to become a member. American libraries are like Newcago, the ALA is Steelheart, and I am a new Epic who must swear loyalty to the ALA before I can go about resisting its indoctrination. (In one issue of their monthly magazine, they did a story on the controversy surrounding collections about American terror groups. Every. Single. One. of the groups they listed was explicitly stated to be from the conservative end of the political spectrum. And, yes, there have been some extremely destructive homeland terror groups from the far right, but pretending the far left is incapable of producing extremists is idiotic at best and dangerous at worst.) /rant Sorry. I'm not a fan of the ALA, if you couldn't tell. I would ask for further clarification about the new board, but I am busy dancing across the room to the bewilderment of my house guests. I will ask about the new board. Please get video evidence of your houseguests' facial expressions. Edited December 6, 2014 by TwiLyghtSansSparkles 1
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 He did have school buddies, or rather, school buddy. Since I was pretty much his only friend. And since the books happened ages ago (4 years ago) They have happened. But false ending. I hadn't thought about that. I suppose it is plausible for him to write a 300 page book, detailing his heroic exploits, all backed up by Logic and fact, just to fool me.
Kobold King he/him Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 I will ask about the new board. Please get video evidence of your houseguests' facial expressions. "But Grandma! I don't think you understand the significance of this! What Happened in Oregon is getting its own sub-forum! Squeee!" 4

Hmmm, I did not know that the right was connected to the free kingdoms, interesting. But false ending. I hadn't thought about that. I suppose it is plausible for him to write a 300 page book, detailing his heroic exploits, all backed up by Logic and fact, just to fool me. That would actually be perfectly in character. Mailliw73 he/him Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 No one should be blind to Christmas lights. Who? Who could it be? Let's see, it involves both your characters, and it can't be anyone we have plans for.... O.O FLASHPOINT AND INTERVENTION ARE GOING TO KILL SAM! I actually have no idea. If only you knew who it was. A SUBFORUM?!?! Yay!!! I'm so excited for it! :)
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted December 6, 2014 Author Posted December 6, 2014 If only you knew who it was. A SUBFORUM?!?! Yay!!! I'm so excited for it! :) I do have a few theories, but I'll just wait and see.
Kobold King he/him Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 It's... more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted December 6, 2014 Author Posted December 6, 2014 It's so…pretty. I want to hug it. 1
Kobold King he/him Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Wait--the Cocoa Puffs prompt is an official forum policy now? (That was an excellently written explanation of free-form RP-ing, TwiLyght. )
Lightsworn Panda he/him Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 A subforum called the "Reckoner's RPG", huh? Looks like the admins finally gave in to our 2000-paged threads.

(That was an excellently written explanation of free-form RP-ing, TwiLyght. ) Yes it is. If you are unable to answer the Cocoa Puffs Question, the next scene will involve all other characters gathered around your character, pointing and laughing. (Kidding.) Thanks! Anything I should add? Mwahahahahaha! "Haha! Look at the two-dimensional character over here!" I can't think of anything off the top of my head. The only thing I can think of would be a reminder not to kill off other people's characters without permission, but that's probably obvious. 2
