I think Nighthound's weakness might be the most eagerly anticipated secret in this game. :P

Rivaled only by Funtimes name, I presume.

I think there´s one mention of Nighthound eating, plus drinking wine once, in the RP but I never specified what he grabbed out of the fridge.

If they still leave Reader alone I fail to see how that changes anything important. Although I might be missing something.

Also my mind just raised the question how much information Reader could get from the shadow pandas.

It means that the guard didn't leave him alone in his room *forever*, it means they only left him alone for an instant. A very unfortunate instant yes, but an instant nonetheless

Still a rookie mistake, nothing two more people could make a difference at should ever be important enough to leave the VIP of doubtable loalitty, who is fully aware there´s an potential execution order for him, alone and the guards outside the bunker should have at the very least been called in to the more secure, important and inconspicuous position to minimize risks. Furthermore, this time the mistake is being made by a solider confirmed not to be new to the job and whatever superior had the authority to call them away, casting the bad impression on more important parts of the city guard.

The problem here isn´t ill logic in and of itself, it´s that the millitary has to be competend enough to keep all the Epics from grabbing the power themself/joining Quicksilver and the success they had at this automatically qualifies them for the rank of badchull (vanilla) army. Meaning there is barely any room for mistakes of judgement at all.

With all this anticipation, I'm afraid her real name will be something of a disappointment. It's not "Hingle McCringleberry" or anything fun like that. :P

It's probably best that we don't know what he ate. :o

(I haven't forgotten about the Unicyclist, by the way. (By the Ray? :P) I'm just being a perfectionist about his intro post.)

How in the Cosmere did such an "innocent" (air quotes, nothing about Nighthound is innocent) question get so dark?

When Nighthound got involved. He can make a polite question as to whether or not you wrote a book sound menacing. (And the creepiness that followed that question proved the author's terror was not misplaced.)

Well if her name was already fun, she wouldn't have taken an Epic moniker. :P

Let' make sure Nighthound never gets to one of Brandon's signings. :o

The question for Funtimes name is, as far as I can tell, really more of a (Doctor Who) meme than actual curiosity, so I doubt disapointment would play a large factor.

The fridge was owned by a regular person, so nothing to bad... I hope.

You mentioned him being in the museum in the last RP post so I guessed as much.

 The only reason Brandon not exsisting in the Reckoner verse could ever be good.

unfortunately I am going to miss much more.

That's too bad. :( Your character is officially declared MIA, but we left his fate open-ended for you to come back should you so choose. :)

In other news, I made post 800 on What Happened in Portland. :D

:( If you ever get the chance to join up again, we left it open for the most insane survival story ever. :)

In other news, Lightwards strikes me, after this post, as the kind of guy who would buy Oreos at Walmart and call them homemade.

Jerk.

I feel confident that if Altermind took a bite of cupcake, he would declare it tastes like pumpkin and blackmail. :P

I feel equally confident that Lightwards will scoff at the pudding Funtimes brings, though it only tastes like jellybeans and insanity. :P

One can only muse and wonder about which taste Altermind would prefer. :P

They say genius is just a form of insanity, and Altermind prizes genius. I think he'd prefer the pudding. :P

Leaving Lightwards to sulk all night because no one wanted his blackmail cupcakes. :P

Which he did not make, took without paying or tipping, and has the audacity to declare "complimentary." I hope an army of angry servers shows up when he is conveniently unarmed. :P

Deciding that the cupcake's quality is to blame for their failure to entertain his guests, he wakes up early the next morning and writes the Trattner bakery a bad Yelp review. :P

Forget "Be Prepared." Weird Al's "Tacky" is Lightwards' theme song. :P

I think it's fun threatening waiters with a bad Yelp review

If you're fine with that you might just be tacky too...

Took the whole bowl of restaurant mints--hey it said they're free

Fortuity and Lightwards will be the first targets of the Great Server and Baker Uprising.

"Product was dry and had not enough sugar; baker was surly and unpleasant to deal with. Warrior taken from establishment was stiff, elderly, and useful only for sending a dire message to an annoying teenager.

"3/10, would not murder and rob from this institution again."

"Tacky" would probably fit a lot of characters in this RP. :P

Meanwhile, over on RateMyProfessor.com....

"So I was just your average bio student, right? It's a tough major. TONS of homework. But I was doing okay--or so I thought, until Professor Cardinal became an Epic and decided I'd make a better zombie than a student.

"Yeah that escalated quickly. Even quicker, if you take into account the fact he straight-up MURDERED MY GIRLFRIEND before going on a rampage! How the sparking sparks did he even get an assault rifle through school security, anyway?"

0/10. Would shoot again. And again. And again.

Depends, the moment he notices that he won´t get rid of her to conventionall way, he´ll probably start commiting the most gruesome attroceties he can think of drive her away.

Which wouldn´t even be that hard, given that the MME knows where she is and there will be plenty of chance to get the information out of them after the attacks... actually would it make sense for Lightwards to ask Altermind to keep some of the human corpses for him, to get information out of them?

She uses her powers too much to be bothered by much but the most gruesome acts he commits.

Given the events of the coming night she's not going to be staying with the MEE for long, she'll probably slip out quietly to one of her hideouts in the next day or so. I agree it makes sense for some of the MEE attackers to be captured alive, perhaps Scrapyard? He's got the best defensive capabilities.
