Edgedancer he/him Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 (edited) I've got it! Terry and Eugine can be the two guards that were in Reader's room! I'll edit that in later. If they still leave Reader alone I fail to see how that changes anything important. Although I might be missing something. Also my mind just raised the question how much information Reader could get from the shadow pandas. Edited November 13, 2014 by Edgedancer
Kobold King he/him Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Congratulation your cat is now a Oregon survivor and way more badchull than you. (Want to know the completly fictional truth about how she fought of Nighthound and became the fated companion of the Daypug?) That would be Kobold/Lightwards. I always knew he had a core of inner awesomeness. (I've known my Neko since he was born, but I suppose Informant could have erased my memories of his fateful Oregon trip.) Er, yes. I will be posting that soon. Edgedancer, would Lucentia react to anything in between Neverthere's disappearance and Altermind entering the Sadry house? If not, then I'll bring us fully up to date in the next Lightwards post. 1

Don´t forget the RP is in the future, just wait until Calamity appears. Nothing really post worthy. Just being annoyed at Neverthere.
Voidus Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Don´t forget the RP is in the future, just wait until Calamity appears. Nothing really post worthy. Just being annoyed at Neverthere. Nevertheres new purpose in life is to stalk and troll the Jagers. 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 Nevertheres new purpose in life is to stalk and troll the Jagers. A high and noble calling, if an extremely dangerous one. 2
Voidus Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 A high and noble calling, if an extremely dangerous one. Although thankfully less dangerous when you don't need to physically be near them So anyone want her to just follow Nighthound around all day and blow raspberries whenever he tries to speak? 2

Yes, but I also don't want Nighthound to hunt her down.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 Joe, what do the Reckoners plan to do with Remington and Alice? If Remington claims he has family expecting him back by morning, will they shoot him? I can't think of any way he could stay with them indefinitely and not make Lightwards suspicious.
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Gordon would be suspicious, But he wouldn't shoot them, just have Sierra slip a Bug onto him or his truck.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 Gordon would be suspicious, But he wouldn't shoot them, just have Sierra slip a Bug onto him or his truck. That's what I figured. I'm writing that post up now, and that's what I have him saying, but I just wanted to make sure that he would be able to avoid a bullet to the head for reasons other than plot armor. 1

Depends, the moment he notices that he won´t get rid of her to conventionall way, he´ll probably start commiting the most gruesome attroceties he can think of drive her away. Yes, but I also don't want Nighthound to hunt her down. Which wouldn´t even be that hard, given that the MME knows where she is and there will be plenty of chance to get the information out of them after the attacks... actually would it make sense for Lightwards to ask Altermind to keep some of the human corpses for him, to get information out of them? I read the edit about the bunker. Good news, the building makes more sense and the pigs become essentially no problem, because they have a much shorther way to travel. On the bad side, it´s on the north side and the Pandas are attacking from there, positioning it in a insecure fighting terretory and a bad choice to evacuate to. However, much more important thanks to the post I now know that north of the Dalles is either a river, making it impossible for the Pandas to attack from there or if he takes the north west (bringing the pig problem back) very little forests what so ever, makng the forest around Marsh Spring the only real option for the frots to be positioned. (and even then that should be in ordinary patrol range but that problem comes from rushing the assault to the current moment) Real cities are dumb. 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Maybe they built a bridge? Would be noticed imediately.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 If the Panda's been planning this for a while now, he could have been having his troops circle northward from the south to attack from that direction. Although that would give his pandas essentially nowhere to flee without immediately being spotted as deserters, but that could have been a deliberate tactical move on the Panda's part, similar to a general burning a bridge to prevent his soldiers' retreat, thus giving them no option but victory. The Panda seems like the sort of fanatical, unbalanced Epic who would do that, especially if the idea came directly from the Radiant Panda. 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Maybe made out of wood so Panda could make it whenever needed? EDIT: ALIVE wood, that is. Given that forts already exhausted him the wood would still have to be gigantic and stored somewhere, I still heavily doubt it. Could make sense as a tactical decision but sadly isn´t supported by the text at all, which claimed all Pandas moved into the forts. Ironically Portland would have been a much better location for the attack as it´s written now. (North still wouldn´t work though) The Slontzes give upvoted theory has been disproven by the way, Baxter just gained me 5. 2

Won't take no for an answer. With a few key details omitted, Neko could easily be mistaken for Koschei. Or perhaps it's the fact Baxter is quite likable, and could probably cause Nighthound to implode with the sheer force of his kindness. (Kidding! I don't want Nighthound to meet Dr. Game because I like him.) 1

Cats are the secret upvote ingredient, which is why Voidgaze likes them so much. From what I currently know "circumstances" make Baxter´s clinic probably the most Nighthound safe house in the city. 1

I am currently bracing myself for terror when Astoria gets its own thread. And trying to determine whether or not the Financier would clean Lightwards' coat because the bloodstains reminded him of different numbers, or threaten to divide him by zero. *makes mental note to give Nathan, Remington, and Funtimes each a cat* The fact that he has medicine, or lots and lots of guns? 2

With some luck the Epics will be to busy killing each other to ooze of their full nightmare potential. Killing Lightards would just create more bloodstains risking them to also be number shaped... a meeting between the two of them after some mental decay could be interesting. Probably the best coice you could ever make. Lots of guns and the fact I positioned his weakness inside the building. Edit: I just realized I´m getting upvotes for my nitpicking. Dividing him by zero would kill the Financier, too, as well as setting the clock back ten minutes. I'm considering what sort of adverse effects it might have on whoever he divided by zero--simply killing them would be too easy. Maybe it erases their memories? At any rate, I really want them to meet after Lightwards' mental decay has really set in. Ah, right.
Kobold King he/him Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 (edited) Lots of guns and the fact I positioned his weakness inside the building. Wait... is his weakness chocolate? EDIT: Just a random thought. Feel free to ignore the comment or RAFO without implying an answer either which way--just realized it might seem like I'm trying to pressure an answer. Edgedancer he/him Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Wait... is his weakness chocolate? I know it´s mean but your continuous efforts to guess Nighthound´s weakness are amusing. Your wrong by the way.

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 I think Nighthound's weakness might be the most eagerly anticipated secret in this game.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 Well, it is Nighthound's weakness. What else would you expect? People trying to find out what he eats for breakfast? Nails, drenched in the tears of orphans, with a glass of nightmare fuel to wash it all down. 2
