am a stick

At least a stick enthusiast, quoting it directly. Impossible to know more without further emphases or elaboration

If the italics are intentionally placed, shows at least stickist-level stickiness, exaggerating the profoundness of the initial claim.

Shallan is ig.

I am a stickist but also a sticky because I appreciate continuity. In math, a certain point is continuous if:

1) a function is defined at that point.

2) The limit exists (is the same for x->- and x->+)

3) The limit and the value of the function are equivalent.

ofc I bring math into this...

although I hate it right now because when you take a mash-up of precalc, alg 2, and trig-

all it means is a lot of homework

Can I use it as kindling?

Absolutely! There is nothing inherently wrong with burning a cookie. The Stick takes a non-violent, non-hate stance on fire. Although It itself does not wish to be fire, it makes no express statement against fire, and it can be inferred as such that The Stick takes an indifferent, or perhaps even supportive stance on fire, as long as it causes no physical harm to the being of The Stick.

Well said. The Stick does not frown upon those exercising their liberties to burn things, so long as it does not impede upon the rights or safety of others.

No, kindling for the stick.

Because IT WILL BE FIRE

As an entity clearly shown having individual thought, it is clearly a character, and thus a proper noun. I think I learned to capitalize proper nouns in 2nd Grade. It is no fault of your own if you have not yet gone through 2nd Grade, but the idea of not deserving capitals is ridiculous. Simply taking away capitals does not degrade a being at all. If I call you ookla the hoppy, it is no less or more degrading than calling you Ookla the Hoppy. It is simply a matter of proper orthography.

The Stick doesn't have individual thought! It only makes one statement, of which we do not know the origin!

In the unreleased Interlude(which is not included because it is not entertaining to the entire populous, not because it is not canon) The Stick both makes the claim that it is a stick, and questions the fact of it's Stickness. Questioning of Identity is one of the truest, deepest expressions of individual thought, one that many great characters, such as Adolin do not approach until very well beyond their initial introduction. In fact, it could be said that The Stick has more distinct character development than many characters across the cosmere.

Wait, I want to read that

When you look at the word stick long enough, you begin to believe that it is spelled wrong. This is called semantic satiation, and it happens because your neurons get tired of firing in the same way, leading to them firing less intensely. That is what happened to my brain when I read that interlude. It appears that The Stick can only say one phrase. The only thing that changes is the punctuation. This could be due to a brain injury (post-concussive speech area disruption) or lasting trauma from when Shallan tried to force Stick to be fire. (C-PTSD can lead to selective mutism or limited vocabulary, especially in children. (ex. Groot)) Either way, Stick has been through a lot, and deserves to be treated as the sentient character it is. Please don't set it on fire.
