the magebreaker banged teh side of his helmet with an armourd fist "good thing my defences block out the noise."

"Oh, no! It's just up ahead! As long as we stay on the path-" There is a clear dirt path through the forest below you. "-We'll get there!" The light became a joyful red-orange.

"and what makes you better than any of the royally appointed wizards? the king surcehed the entire empire for his personal mage. and as you should know well the empire coveres the 3 largest continents in the known world."

"is your herb, plant thing on the way to the village? you seem to be heading in that way anyway."

the magebreaker could feel the gaping hole deep in his chest where his heart should be. before the dark lord cut it out for his dark spells. he knew what it was like to be cursed, to feel agony every second and yet still try to go on... 

the magebreaker's face clearly showed his pain though he tried to hide it well.
