“So less people make food. That doesn’t explain the shifting of dragon culture. We don’t grow food anyway - we hunt it, and we don’t hunt excess in case it spoils."

"Not all dragons eat meat. You can eat fruit or nuts if you want to, but you don't because dragons need the protein more than others."

"Also, agriculture includes the raising of livestock like cattle or sheep."

"It all has to do with services. If you were a merchant selling jewelry, where would you like to put your shop? The small town with a lot of farmers? Or the big city where there are more people with more money?"

“I guess the city with more money. I still don’t really get the whole money thing, but that’s not the point right now."

This causes easy access to anyone within a certain proxy, hence why there are so many people in big cities. More easy access means better nutrition and healthier lives. Healthier lives lead to happier lives. And they shift culturally towards favoring that."
