I fire a glaive projectile at Kansas (because it’s a destiny glaive and has a built-in gun) and then slip behind Coder’s dragon to shake his hand

I mimic a move from Men in Tights and swing my sai wildly in front of me to chop up the projectile and scatter it around me (totally valid, trust)

but anyway, I use my voice to awaken WEN’s Glaive with the command “attack dragons”. The glaive darts out of WEN’s hands, and hopping on the hilt with the blade bleeding black residue, approaches Coder’s dragon.

My dude, your dragon just ate something that’s basically Nightblood, but it can move on its own. If you choose to do that, your dragon would evaporate into black smoke. I awaken some more of the dirt with the command: Stop people from touching the Bands. It forms a buffer between K-Sauce’s skin and the Bands, preventing him from touching them.

Realize, people, that anyone touching the bands could tap Speed, Strength, and Allomatic Atium and just… Win.

What’s your point? The dust clouds still would’ve worked, even if the shirt wouldn’t. To my understanding, clone is here with bands, and you despawned. Both of the dust cloud commands are impersonal. Your clone didn’t tap speed when he tried to strike me, so my dust cloud would absolutely have had time to trip him before he struck me, so my armor isn’t broken. And now my other dust cloud is preventing your clone from touching the Bands.

Clone compounds pewter to keep a grip on the Bands. He also compounds tin to see through the dust cloud.

Clone compounds pewter to keep a grip on the Bands. He also compounds tin to see through the dust cloud.

I fall hard, get back up, and proceed to continue slamming my swiss army polearm into Clone with no subtlety whatsoever.
