That’s… all of them…

All the ones she has access to right now

I am sure that some form of renegotiation is possible, surely.

Also, after clarification from the gman:

Mascarose may be gone, but Order is not. No longer within the spotlight of the mind, but present. Lurking around the Selish. Waiting, watching. Muffled, but near enough for Mercy, Odium, and Desire to detect.

With nothing more to gain from mere glimpses at the conversations of others, and spurred on by a growing incessant irritation sourced not from boredom, the power of an ordered world slipped subtly away. It’s presence to fade swifter than others of its class, out into a too-wide world, with an unknown trajectory towards an unknown one in particular, that which was unable to be parsed by the sight of others.

The deal was done, her business with Desire finished. Mercy drifted from the system; she had no reason to stick around. Surrounded by the dampening void, Mercy planned out her next moves. Two weeks—that was how much time she had to find four seeds. If not… She checked on her own seeds, a passing glance. She would likely have to forfeit them in the event of failure.

Stretching out her consciousness across the cosmere, Mercy glimpsed the status of the various seeds. Many had landed on planets upon the arrival of the supernova—nearly all of those that did were now being used by their governing Shard, to some extent. But those seeds—they were still floating free. Riding at the edge of the blast, trajectories set, no doubt, for further-out planets she had not yet noticed. There was a pair nearing a planet now. A planet that, when she turned her focus upon it, seemed to have powerful Invested beings on it already. The work of her fallen god? How curious. There were others, too, but she did not wish to miss an opportunity on the part of striving elsewhere. And so Mercy aimed for interception. With any amount of fortune, it would be an easy steal.

Seeds before they land have very little Investiture

They only grow after feeding on the Investiture of a planet

Within Nerakalis, there existed a population who could only barely be classified as ‘people.’ Made not to live in truth, instead only to serve. To be enslaved as living tools, endowed with little but their reaching minds. Given a single directive, a sole purpose and reason to exist, from their source, creator, and god.

Who was now gone, that god split and perhaps lost forever. Their position was vacant, and there were none more suitable for it now than Grace.

To Desire, Grace sent congratulations on their Ascension, and kindly offered to handle a problem of theirs unbidden; the unwanted.

They were so pitiful. Their huddled masses lost and struggling in the dark. Isolated in the lone cavern which housed them. Contending with that for which they were not built. Fear, pain. Odium adored them. To come to emotion despite their nature. But, they wouldn’t last forever, down there. Doomed to dwindle and die, discarded with disdain by Desire; they to whom Grace told that she would handle a problem for them.

So, Grace appeared to those poor wretches. A dim, golden light suited to their untrained eyes and radiating through their souls. The Essence of Odium… with its more raging aspects toned down, regulated. Passion. The wonder of the wholeness of the spectrum that was emotion filled Nerakalis’ dregs, and to them Grace Isilyar spoke.

Told them of a paradise. Of color and life, where they would experience what they deserved to experience, as free living beings. All that was needed was to turn themselves over to her power—those warm emotions—so she could protect and shelter them from the pain they now experienced, and worse.

…every single one was to accept.

Spoiler

Simple talk box! What is going on here? Simple! Grace and Odium feel that Ambition’s ill-fated sentient creations are pitiful yet perfect. So, they decide to adopt them. These poor beings are easily swayed by a show of emotion and the concept of protection and a new home. It helps that their current situation is absolutely terrible.

Desire snarls,

You will use them for your own plans, Godess of Hate. I will not allow for them to be tools.

Desire rips themselves away, and with them, their colors and their direction.  Their Ambition.

Take them as they were made. Pure and untouched. Do with them as you will, but know they're no better against the Maw than anything.

Desire steps away, allowing odium to fill that gap.

“Bitterness does not flatter you,” Grace chides. “Please, place yourself above it, try on another feeling.”

Desire begins their merciless extraction, but finds themselves stymied. The power of Odium, with similar animalistic zeal, interposes itself between Desire and their quarry. With every passing moment, the grip Desire has on Ambition’s creations weakens.

They have given themselves over to a more beneficent goddess, and in doing so are placed entirely within her power. Instead, it is Odium to whom they are pulled.

“Do not worry,” Grace says. “Unlike some, I see value in these poor beings. Not even you will harm them.”

Enveloped in golden light, those who were once of Nerakalis transition from one Realm to another, cradled in the arms of a new patron, destined for elsewhere.

I talked to bossman about it a bit. Since those creations would most assuredly give themselves over spiritually to Odium, Odium obtains spiritual influence over them, and thus can block Desire. Yippee! Besides, Desire didn’t create them, Ambition did! ;]

Devotion watches as the supernova hurtles towards her world. Two souls ride towards them, and devotion feels pity. Abandoned by their creator, alone in the cold cosmere. Devotion knows her counterpart will attempt to destroy them, such is Ruin’s nature, but she has the power to oppose her.

Ruin. We must defend our system.

The power. It doesn't want to... But maybe... Yes, I can ruin the oncoming supernova; that's the best we're going to get. I can't protect our system as you can...

Devotion’s power reaches out, entangling with Ruin’s, forming a shield and net around their system. The worst effects are filtered out by ice that surround their world, and drawn in by the mass of the giant they orbit. Twin souls hurtle towards them, one drawn to the gas giant, one drawn to their world. A Connection is formed.

Valor ran. He was weakened, but not much. Enough to flee. The power hated him, though his explanation had shown it something.

He knew that Virtuosity was dangerous. He would like low on a planet, regain his power, then join the others.

He was soon able to find a suitable system. The humans there were resilient! Some had been underground when the energy hit. Their planet was destroyed, but they still had life.

Well, little beings, no matter.

For I will make you anew.

And thus was it born.
