Staff Review closing in 2 days + Updates to our Forum Policy

Hey all! 

First of all, we want to remind you that the 2025 Staff Review closes in two days. Only about a third of our responses have been from the forums, and we'd love to hear from more of you! 
Speaking of the Staff Review, we've gotten a few pieces of feedback on things in our Forum Policy that could be clarified further. We've gone through and updated our policies to be more thorough and up to date. Notable changes include clarification on double posting, necro posts, and advertising/self-promo. We encourage you to read through all of the Forum Policy, both to see the changes and to refresh yourself on the rules. If there's anything else that you think needs further clarification, feel free to respond to this post or PM a staff member.

• Policies do not show as being updated (no edit tag, dates show as/of 7 Apr 2020
  • Consider manually adding to the first post the current as/of date (please see 1 below) 
  • Since these policies can be quoted elsewhere in the forums, it helps determine if a quoted section is older policy than the current policy
• General Policies, General Section
  • How to remediate if you accidentally created a second account
    • Post in Forum or Tech section, or whatever the preferred self-reporting remediation method is
• General Policies, Spam Section
  • Link to the "how to report spam" thread for people that do not yet know to use the report tool (once only per bot username) and to inform them not to reply or quote spam posts. 
• Forum Policies, Double posting
  • "by pressing the Hide button (next to Quote)" - Hide is no longer next to quote, it's in the hamburger menu
• Spoiler and Unpublished Works Policy
  • Clarify "Publicly available chapters. . . only discussed in the appropriate forum or Discord channel" for when some part of that becomes canon (please see 2 below)
  • Forum Section:
    • "Topic titles should not contain spoilers" - consider mentioning that it is because these titles appear on the home page outside of spoiler sections
  • Spoiler Period Lengths:
    • Spoiler Period should indicate if it from limited release date or commercial release date (when those two are not the same).
