In this book Dusk mentions that the giant sea creatures are most common around the islands/patji

this reminds me of the chasmfiends on Roshar that are bigger on the shattered plains due to

Spoiler

the perpendicularity there.

I think it’s safe to assume flora/fauna can grow bigger around the perpendicularity over time.

what do you think are the odds there are giant plants/flowers near the nalthis perpendicualrity? Or giant standings on taldain?
im trying to think if there is anything interesting that could be done with scadrial or Sel.

It'd also be easier for Aquatic Megafauna to exist due to water buoyancy, unlike on Roshar where Chasmfiends need lower gravity and Spren bonds to lighten their weight so they don't crush themselves. Although the Tai-na are island sized and in water, so there's that.

Now that does sound really cool, especially since I don't think we've actually seen a Tears of Edgli flower before. I think. I'm not sure since it's been a while since I've read through Warbreaker.

Some Sandlings already get pretty big, no Perpendicularity required, and I'm 90% sure that Taldain's Perpendicularity is likely somewhere on Darkside rather than Dayside.

There don't seem to be any magical fauna or flora on Sel unfortunately, which I hope is not the case as we finally get the sequels in a couple years and a better look at Sel. Maybe a Seon or Skaze could take a dip in their respective Shard's Perpendicularity to get bigger?

As for Scadrial, same issue there, though I do like the idea of a megasized Mistwraith, especially if one was exposed to Ruin's Perpendicularity and went from a scavenger into a predator. Really give the Skaa something to fear. And the Nobles, and pretty much everyone to be honest...
