Lifeless Fused.

Thinking about the fused and their usefulness as a lifeless. I assume their powers will be unusable once they are made into lifeless which makes the magnified ones a pretty obvious choice in my opinion but I am curious what others may choose?

This is true.

Or at least, Metalborn Lifeless cannot continue using their old Invested powers, which should work the same for Fused Lifeless.

Yeah if you-- taking some-- Yeah.  No they can't.

Still, if you could retain the skill of a Fused you could still get a lot of bang for your buck, I think. 

Honor's forces struggled facing the Fused before they had Surges, if memory serves correctly, so getting a few super competent soldiers would be great nonetheless.

Lifeless are made from corpses. If a Fused dies, do you get, say, Leshwi's corpse, or the corpse of the Singer whose body she possessed after expelling him? Whose remnant would the Command activate?

Several types of Fused would be inherently better than others as Lifeless, mostly those that have enhanced physicality and aren't as reliant on their Surges to function.

Heavenly Ones/Devastating Ones/Flowing Ones/Masked Ones/Deepest Ones/Altered Ones: Too reliant on their surgebinding to be of any practical use, an Awakener would be better off just turning some Warforms into Lifeless soldiers instead.

Husked Ones: If Lezian is a prime example of them, then their large size, greater physicality and natural weapons would make them better than the previous.

Focused Ones: Without the Surge of Tension, these guys are just big meat shields more than anything else in my opinion.

Magnified Ones: By far the best, the large amount of Carapace functions as natural armor and shouldn't require any Surges to maintain, making them walking tanks.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. The magnified ones seem like the only one with no real reliance on Surgebinding to maintain their abilities and danger.
