Mercy would definitely, but again, previously mentioned casualties... if they want to eliminate all of the Shards, they can't afford to be badly hurt from a clash with the first. Hence trying to rope in others.

It would also be difficult for her to leave, since she's invested in FOTS. Likewise for honour.

It’s a sliding scale, I think. Honour’d be on the more limited end, Mercy on the less. And they could always abandon a portion of their power in system.

Yes, probably. Certain shards are less sticky. I'd imagine Dominion is more sticky, or less.

And relative Investment, too. Honour making a planet, Mercy is attuning to what is already there. A metaphorical relative 75% of infinity to, like 25% or something. Don’t quote me on those numbers.

Yeah, I would imagine that creating something, you are turning your Investiture into matter and so it's kinda stuck there unless you want to turn it back, whereas Investing something is more forging a strong Connection with it that the Investiture flows through to it, so it's more easily able to still be used by the Shard.

Just had a thought:

The star systems here are separated by somewhere between 10 and 30 light years. Which means, the light from Virtuosity's supernova won't reach them for 10 to 30 years! All the planets will have decades to prepare!

I realised that, but I was hoping others wouldn't notise cause it screws with some of the plot I had in mind. Oh well.

See I thought about that. It's riding a spiritual wave, so it's warping space and traveling ftl. Like the centerbeat, it's slowing time. Other parts of the wave are traveling through the cognitive and spiritual, so it'll hit several times.

Alright so then all the Investiture and Dawnshard-seeking stuff would happen super fast but the actual planet-destroying Physical Realm matter will take decades.
