Can't find Vandra or Sarel in the document, could you tell me what the magic system is? Is it worldsinging?

I could actually take Ezeriel, the seed of Autonomy on Scadrial.

@al_lan_mandragoran, are you cool with that?

Yeah, Sarel is a character in another RP where I'm testing it out.

Spoiler

Bards are those lucky few who have drunk from the sap of the world tree- and been initiated into the sacred order that advises rulers across Vandra. With this comes a number of powers, the most notable of which is their ability to hear the Heartbeats of the world - rhythms chained to emotions, sensations, and gods - and to create Melodies, invested songs that draw on the power of the world and other nearby to create various invested effects.

Bards, so long as they have a way to make music, can create Melodies at will, at various strengths due to the available investiture, volume, and intent. These are the first known, and the second list comprises those that are unknown.

Song Name

Description

Effect

Song of Emotion

A song fitting the emotion.

Inspires an emotion in all who hear it.

Song of Healing

A gentle, uplifting song. Colors seem more vibrant, and those nearby feel warm and comfortable.

Heals- requires intent to aim. Slow healing, or light.

Song of Shadow

A quiet, grim tune.  Shadows seem to lengthen, and darkness grows deep,

Creates darkness and Silence

Song of Wind

A wild, spinning tune. A slight headache appears if people try to follow along too closely.

Call the wind

Song of War

A heavy, beating tune that gets the blood pumping.

Inspires strength and battle prowess

Song of Agony

A fast, grating sound that only some call a song. Headaches, bones vibrate- truly an awful experience.

Creates pain and destroys objects

Song of Opening

A building song that reaches a crescendo. People who listen to the music often claim it’s a three-part harmony, even when no one else is present.

Opens Perpendicularties. Usually only used on Wergates, doesn’t make new Perpendicularties, merely reopen old ones.

Song of Whispers

A hissing, keening tune. A chill settles in the air, and everyone has the sensation of being watched.

Detects Investiture

Song of Wood

A deep, slow tune that evokes the sound of a massive heartbeat in many listeners.

Grows plants.

Song of Making

A complex song that is slightly unsettling. It requires great skill to use properly.

Repairs/ constructs Objects

Songs yet unknown.

Song of the Void

A quiet song that strikes fear into hearts.

Creates a connection to the Maw, and pulls a tiny piece of itself through. It vanishes after a few minutes.

Song of the Dead Gods

A gentle, mournful song.

Unmakes investiture, reducing it to nothing.

Song of Halls

A song that resonates with people.

Forges connections.

Song of Souls

An oppressive, baleful song.

Raises the dead in a foul facsimile of life.

I've always loved music-based magic systems. I think I'll actually make a seed on Vandra instead

Ik I sound super indecisive and I'm sorry for that

Could I make a seed that's a mix of both Devotion and Ruin, like the Sibling with Honor and Cultivation?

I love worldtrees, but they can't really walk around much. I think the demon would be better.

Could I make a new char sheet for him?

Yeah sure, knock yourself out. They're vaguelly evil and may eat souls
This is everything I've wrote on Vandra, though it's like 90% uncanon.

Spoiler

Vandra: The Treesong

Vandra spins about two axis- it's planetary axis, and the Worldtree, A great Ash Tree that's roots span the world, and branches that pierce the realms.

Although Vandra has a variety of climates, the average is cooler than the cosmere average, resulting in a world that trends towards Temperate forests, Tundra and Arctic zones. The world tree connects it all- literally. Upon any root large enough for them to crawl through, a Worldsinger (or any appropriately invested and connected individual) can open a Wergate, an instant portal to anywhere the Worldtree touches. This both drains the surrounding world and takes much out of the worldsinger, so it's usually only done in the greatest need. More on the Wergates and the Worldsingers later.

The world tree's trunk is miles across, and indeed partly hollow. Great caverns lead deep inside, although only one reaches the heartwood of the tree, where the worldsingers Tap into its power, and initiate their apprentices.

Politically, Vandra is a tumultuous world, wracked by strife and war. Warlords often claim swathes of land for themselves, but their wourld be empires fall apart before they reach a size and age worthy of the title. The Worldsingers act as advisors and traveling healers and minstrels, and perhaps peacekeepers. But never warriors. Never shall they draw blood, Never shall they kill or relish in the light leaving an eye. Lest they attract a War Wraith.

War Wraiths are misty, shadowy figures with burning magenta eyes, drawn to battlefields where the earth was soaked by blood. Their voice, like the grating sound of steel on stone, shreds spirit and flesh alike. They hunt those who transgress, certain songs, certain actions, certain paths, all lead to death and consumption. Every War Wraith  was once a worldsinger, each of whom was a warrior in some ancient battle.

War Wraiths’ power has turned in on itself

It's currently going on right now actually. Also check out the Throeondy magic system stuff before starting- while you do have many Spirits and Ancestores, ou have less Celenizers than Threondy itself, since you on a neighboring planet i think. If you wanna be on threnody though im currently working on the politics and stuff( @Belandrius Ohhmar)

The City of Spirits, mainly known as Andoleas

Andoleas, also known as the City of Spirits, is the first city formed even before Andarneoas, or Endowment, had arrived. It is said that, in return for the gift of Celenizing, they had named the “City” after her- even though it is much bigger than your usual city. This is where most Spiritcallers are chosen and where most Celenizers live. It is a grand, majestic castle surrounded by three main ‘towns’ and several smaller ones. The first Town houses the Farmers, who produce food. The second Town houses the Miners, who mine ore and Celenite. The third town houses the Endriet: A religious sector worshipping Endowment. This Town mainly sends “Servers” to the Enowment’s Peak to serve the Spiritcallers who in turn serve Endowment. Other small towns live on their own, paying taxes in return for the protection of the Lord, a Spiritcaller chosen by Endowment to lead them. Only one Lord lives at a time and the next one is chosen at random by Endowment. The Lord has total and complete control over the City and it’s people, but rarely needs much done.

The City of Vylytrite

The city of Vylytrite is basically a smaller version of The City of Andoleas, while serving Preservation instead of Endowment. While Spiritcallers and

I don't think the shades kill people, unless they're like.... in the cognitive. They're not real cosmere Shades. They're like normal people but dead.

You'd probably be playing the same vessel... Shasta. Preservation hasn't died, Born of Mist is just GMing now.
