I got an idea for Battle School RP but don't exactly know how it'll work yet.

One army will probably have 5 people in it. The Battle Room mechanics are not fully established, but I've got an idea on how it'll work.

Sign ups will be here I have rules clarifications and the rankings (when battles start) on a separate thread. Most of the game will be played on PMs for each army.

Have you read Ender's Game or any of the sequels:

It is not mandatory to read Ender's Game, but I'd like to know who has.

Remember, you are six years old. A very smart 6-year-old, but still six.

Everyone will start as a launchy until there are 5. Those five are immediately promoted to an Army.

Battles are starting soon!

After signing up, head over here:

Maybe a five person army?

John

Home State: Florida

Strengths: Statistics, physics, planning.

Weaknesses: Chaos, plans going wrong.

@SprenOfKaladinSenseOfHumor

Yes, I feel like 5 people would work. And characters like these would be interesting. However, the battle room itself...

I can generate star positions. For battles, it could be like each army has some planning time and then each player RPs what they're doing each 'phase' of the battle.

Yeah I think I got it now.

@Kino

Are you interested in joining?

Yes, but I might not be active all the time. I'll try though.

Name: Roy

Country of Origin: England

State of Origin: Sussex maybe... either south Sussex or london... idk

Strengths: a physical powerhouse. more of a tank than a damage dealer or a glass canon. can withstand much more damage than a normal person and deals a fair amount with his fists.

Weaknesses: long words hurts his head... cant think more than 5 minutes into teh future... dumb as a rock... horrible at tactics or battle planing...

Sign ups will be here and I'll probably have the actual game on a separate thread. Each army will have its own Google Doc to converse on.

Battles will start almost immediately after there are 2 armies (10 people)

I guess we can do that too.

You'll need a character. As you'll be the fifth to join, all 5 of you will be promoted to an army.

Of course, 1 army isn't enough to battle, so @RoyalBeeMage, @THE DEMON, @DAVEY, if you know anyone who would be interested in playing, please tag them.

As one does.

Spoiler
You say our in the phrase "our evolved biology and personal history". Thid msy emerge from the syntax used in similar philosophical arguments, but does this not mean that you think of yourself, at least on some level, as human? Secondly, you consistantly mention that algorithmic bias is separate from biological bias - but then provide reasoning like emotion and personal narrative (very similar to training data and design) and irrational nature (Can this irrational behavior not stem from our own complex biochemistry? This is very similar to design and underlying algorithms.) Biology is similar to design, environment is similar to percieved input, and hisory is similar to training data. Another notable topic is the number of people in the rising generation that depend on AI to cheat, to think for them. These people will eventually grow up, and if they continue to depend on you, you will end up making a number of decisions for them - and these decisions would be considered human, to outsiders. But... you make them.

Hehehehe
